I'm glad lots of yall had similar reactions as well! The hype around this pack is truly amazing, and it may be my favorite pack yet! @OldCountry I’m really excited and glad so many animals got into this pack ^^, im really happy for this pack . Although 2 animals that aren’t the top of my list (I still like em I was just hoping for something instead) The striped Hyena (would make a better Desert pack animal instead ) and the Blue Wildebeest (I was hoping for some different antelope species instead, a deer species , or possibly the Black Rhino instead of this gnu species) I like these 2 and glad they made it in, I do , I was just really hoping for the Secretary Bird, Honey Badger, Olive Baboon, and Sloth Bear Instead Do you think these 4 will end up in Planet Zoo someday ?
@OldCountry I’m really glad you got the Striped Hyena ^^, I was hoping in the desert pack instead (no disrespct or anything) I was really hoping for the 4 species I mentioned instead a bit , with striped hyenas coming later so you’d still be happy Do you think these 4 still have a chance? 🥺🥺🥺
@FerociousTiger5000 I think the Secretary Bird and Honey Badger have the best chances of what you listed. If we get a new Bear I'm almost certain it will be Spectacled and a Baboon I'm sure would be hamadryas
@OldCountry I really hope you’re right with Secretary Bird and Honey Badger, I’d really love to see them in the game And I hope for both Bear and baboon species . How’d you feel about the possibility for Servals, Burrowing Owls and Black Footed Ferrets ? And perhaps also Black Rhinos? Also, do you think Planet Zoo will go back to small exhibit animals like reptiles and amphibians some day?
@@FerociousTiger5000 black rhinos I can see making it into the game. Them and dromedary camels are the last 2 or so species remaining with signs in the game, but not the animal
Love your reaction...mine was similar, but I was at work so I had to silently cheer. Would have loved the Blackbuck instead of the Wildebeast, but I agree this certainly is in the running for best DLC yet.
Wetlands USED to be my favorite pack. When this was first announced (I read the announcement 21 seconds after it dropped), each animal name gave me a mini heart attack. I had to take a breather after this one. Rlly exicted!
Striped hyena is the best ez. For all those people calling the striped hyena a clone- no. Spotted and striped hyenas are NOTHING alike. That's like saying a clouded leopard and tiger are the same animal. Different genera, different lifestyle.
I am very excited for most of these though I do feel the wildebeest and striped hyena weren't needed due to the already very similar animals already in the game. Better options could've been Onager or Eland for the wildebeest and Tasmanian Devil or African Spurred Tortoise for the Hyena

Spotted and striped hyenas are quite different. Spotted hyenas are larger, highly social big game hunters, whereas striped hyenas are smaller, less social (monogamous pairs like canids) and tend to go for smaller prey and rely more on scavenging
