Updated 100m dash time: 11.31, after around 3 weeks training in the shoes. I don’t think my improvement in time (from 11.81 to 11.31) was only because of the spikes (I was also kind of at the peak of my season, no headwind this time, etc.) but I think they caused at least 30% of it. But I think they had to have done something, because 3 weeks is a short training period. Shoutout to my expert teammate Sami Zaher for coaching me for free. When I say they caused at least 30% of my improvement, I mean in that one race alone. I feel like they gave me .1-.2 seconds. It’s possible that because they made me run faster in practice, (I’ve practiced exclusively in these spikes since I got them), they’ve had an even bigger contribution to my times than 30%. But again, I would get them if I were you (if you can find them at a reasonable price now!). I didn’t plan to practice in these spikes often, but I ended up wearing them every practice, and I’m becoming more confident in the air bubble. I don’t expect it to pop, but I’ll be devastated if it does. Let me know if you have any recommendations for a good practice spike I can get so I can save these ones for meets. P.S: The 11:31 race I’m talking about is the race in my other video of my best 2024 races. I put that video up for college recruiting but I haven’t heard back yet… I thought I could win NCAA’s running 11.31 but maybe not
Nike has a great return policy on their products if they happen to have a malfunction during regular use. I recommend contacting them about it should your air bubble ever pop within 2 years of ownership

Yeah man that sucks I was up early too, I probably just barely got them. It might help to make an account in advance, favorite whatever you’re buying, and do everything they say to get to the front of the line because I don’t know how their “line” works but I imagine it’s partially based on showing early interest
I know that the new version of the air bubble is more reliable and wont pop as easily as the old ones. Im a 11flat runner and popped the first version on two different pairs but i dont think you should worry. If you dont run around 11 flat you probably dont put that much force into the ground for the bubble to pop any time soon. GL
Never had the first one, but I have had the Nike Rival spikes (their cheap version) and they fit the same as those in terms of length, but feel slightly narrower. Definitely a narrower spike. However, I have wide feet and when I don’t really tighten them towards the toe box at all they fit like a glove.
