    I had never heard of this until now. What a cool idea! So much life on and around it already. Thanks for sharing this. 🤙

      It is an interesting idea. But the cost of it and the scale of it, compared to sinking a warship. I am unsure if many more will actually be made.

    Great video Mark. Didn't realize something like that would cost so much money. Thanks for sharing

      I know crazy. Well it Australian Dollars but costs $4m to sink a warship, so quite staggering

    Those are some really cool structures. They look really hollow. Understanding Archimedes, how do the upper structures maintain their buoyancy? 🤔

      @sammoyers905 Год назад +1

      Oh, after rewatching, I see the central core of the upper sections are not hollow. I saw Holly swimming through what must be a lower section and was like... hmmm🤔

      Yeah the centre part is filled with air then have the wrap around after. The website about how they designed and built them is interesting - www.wonderreef.com.au/

    I just booked with Gold Coast dive adventures for June this year . I was going to do the wonder reef but decided to do 3 x dives at the North Stradbroke island. Can’t wait . Very detailed and interesting facts about the wonder reef thanks 👍

    Interesting concept - bit ugly in all truth (apart from the pretty fish) - and they don't really float per se - they are attached to the sea bed? It would be super cool if they were just buoyant at depth - and you never quite knew where they were! :)

    • @BlueHorizonDiving
      @BlueHorizonDiving  Год назад +1

      🤣🤣 true, so Cazza, you want a floating shipping hazard to dodge for fun
