My urinary function significantly improved after my prostate was removed. That's because my prostate was also enlarged before surgery, resulting in frequent urges to urinate (including at night), difficulty in starting urine flow, incomplete emptying of the bladder, etc.
Thank u for this video Dr. Geo. Your breakdown on this prostate removal is the most positive I’ve seen since I’ve been researching prostate removal and radiation treatments for myself since being confirmed this past August I have PC. So many videos have depressed me but you put a smile on my face because there is hope to live a better life dealing with this cancer. My first decision was to have the removal because by the grace of God I talked to a guy in July who told me he had his removed but he was happy he did this and though he is ED he still have the drive to want to have sex so maybe he will get better along the way but the downside is the catheter and I am so sensitive that’s the only thing that annoys me with this surgery. I’m a big 68 year old baby but I’ll manage for I can’t deal with hormone therapy with radiation for the side effects are horrible and too many days of radiation. I especially like when you said to put down all the research and go in the woods or ocean and sit and think and a decision will come. I’ve been praying and talking to God during my walks and since I recently had my Ct scan I’ll know after my next visit to see a radiologist what I will do since I already talked with the surgeon/neurologist who went over my biopsy and the surgery with me. Thank u again for your positive approach to such a delicate situation.
I had an aggressive form of cancer, and knew the risks for the surgery. Incontenance after surgery was not an issue. Some minor leakage during straining for the first month only. Physical therapy has resolved that issue. ED is still a concern a year after surgery. I chose Trimix injections. The needle is so small, it doesn’t even hurt, and the results are rewarding. It takes time for the nerves to recover.
I recently saw an episode on RUclips at Prostate Cancer Research Center. The presenter claimed that Saw Pamelo had some positive improvement outcomes for prostatitis, but was definitely an improvement for BPH. However, it did not help pc.
I am a wife of someone who’s husband had prostrate removed at 49 years old He has not not tried to be sexual and doesn’t care now that we both are in our 60’s It’s awful
IF u r a candidate for radiation, get it!...Post surgery, im in padded underwear for life, & the ED is real. Pills or injections dont work. No way im going back to those guys for an implant. I have 2 cousins with worse post surgical outcomes - different cities, hospitals & docs. This guy trys to say youre good after if u were good b4. Not if they don't spare the nerve.
You're right, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest in Mario Volpstein's Erections at Will, it's so much simpler and potent now!

I want my prostate out of my body, because of chronic prostatitis, it keeps coming back to me and causes me lots of pain...and it won't go away...
I feel your pain brother.I have the same scourge.
Ask about radiation

How much pain is involved post operative??
Please interview Joseph Busch of the Busch Center in GA. I did the Tulsa procedure and am 100% cancer free 1.5 yrs out.
And what about the man’s Phycological effect like depression?
These guys don’t talk about the psychological journey of dry orgasm. That seems to me to be very high on the list of challenges
A normal and dry orgasm feel the exact way. The main difference, you will need lube to make up for loss of fluids.
Its missed for sure, but currently have to learn to live with it. Better than no orgasm at all.

It’s awful
It's awful for you? Do he allow you to go out in find it another way after 11 years of not having none?
It sucks, my wife has said I’m not a complete man anymore..😮

Heavenly chapter and helpful video. Pegging is very useful for massaging the prostate in men. From Bangladesh 🆒🆒🆒

It's different. MUCH DIFFERENT. I guess my definition of ok is different than yours.
My wife has no estrogen. We have no sex life.😊 She takes medicine to suppress it.
Technically life goes on, but you're just an empty husk.
My testosterone is gone and sleep a lot and have no sexual energy.
Sounds like you are working on commission.
