Wow. You actually cut trenches in the soles for the stitches. I think it makes the boots look cheap when companies stitch the soles on and then add screws. It looks a lot cleaner and more professional when all you have is one stitch along the edge. Nice job.
Phenomenal boot rejuvenation. Being Italian and having wasted my youth on construction sites, I truly appreciate good quality boots. I doubt there is anywhere in the world that creates better boots than the Pacific North West in America. I have just bought my first pair of White's boots. Well done brother 😎
Didn't know red wing used cardboard in the midsole? Or have they been done by cobbler before? This guy didn't skimp with the Cork! Best job I have seen doing that! This was top work, well done sir!
Wow can't believe the midsole is some sort of cardboard, I thought the beckmans were on the higher end. Great job on resole, this is exactly what I want done to my red wings. Just gotta make the time to come from toronto
I’ve only been with you on the channel recently since Steve Doudaklian came to visit and brought his viewers to see you! But I’m glad I subscribed. I learnt some new things, and really enjoyed this video. Thanks so much. Great looking job. From Nigel in the UK.
The only problem with that is RFID has zero value as evidence value. It does nothing prove whether the item was paid for. It is probably used for tracking manufacturing batches, for when the boots are returned to the factory for warranty claims or resoles. Or for authentication. A counterfeit boot will not have the RFID.
Such a nice video. Many useful detailed explanations. I'm also happy to see you posting more often recently. The White's boots look very nice, I heard Double Shot leather is of a great quality (durability, break in, patina, etc), it is the leather manufacturer's favorite (Seidel). Thank you for the video!
Are you wearing some Whites 355 Loggers in Natural Double Shot leather? Definitely some PNW goodness. Edit: oh you show them at the end. Looks like I guessed right. Gorgeous boots!
Great work! I have a pair of C350 Cruisers in Burgundy Double Shot on the way, because I couldn't get the Beckman 9411's. Not sure why Red Wing discontinued them.
Nicely done Pablo👍 by the way got the link of that saphir conditioner that you use……like the idea that it dries matt and not shiny. How about Red wing oil would you recommend them also or they darken the leather.
Great audio and video quality! Nice White's boots! Do you have any experience with any of their hand welted boots to compare with your stitchdown model?
Good question and I’m not entirely sure. You would good traction with the mini lugs. Maybe check Reddit threads and see how Red Wing Beckmans perform in winter.
It's always amazing to me how poor of a condition some of the owners let their boots get. I clean/condition mine every 3-4 weeks because of the value of my footwear. Nonetheless, you did a great job. Truly an artist!
@@dimarshoerepair well they will attack Red Wing, not you. The guy who cuts boots in half became an internet “hero” for exposing Alden if you follow that noise. I on the other hand still love my 405’s. Haha
I'm surprised by the cardboard midsole, as Red Wing used to state the Beckmans had a leather midsole. Had these boots been resoled before or do we assume Red Wing started cutting corners some time before discontinuing the Beckmans? My Beckmans are from 2017, and I am going to hope the midsole won't rot out.
Great question! I'm so surprised as well, considering Red Wing uses their own tannery as well. But they also use plastic heel rands when they have access to tons of leather. As commented already, it's likely leather board. But it tore apart like cardboard.
@@dimarshoerepair thanks so much for responding to our comments and questions! Another question: to your knowledge were these resoled before? I've seen other Beckman resoles, and they look like leather. 🤷🏾♂️ Interesting either way. Thanks again and keep up the impeccable work! I wish shipping was more reasonable, otherwise I'd have you guys do my resoles. Absolutely stunning work.

Everything was original as far I'm aware

I was surprised as well with the material, fortunately they're done right now
As an owner of multiple Beckmans I was very disappointed.

This is unreal. That owner must be so damn happy with how these came out!
Yes he was very happy!
Great job and great upgrade
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great job!
Thanks for the visit!
Great channel. You have a new watcher and subscriber.
Welcome aboard!
Ah man the natural midsole colour contrasting the black looks 🔥
Thanks my man 🔥🔥🔥
Great work. Cheers from Ottawa!
Thank you and cheers!
The first time I saw RFID Strip. With the price I would think the materials were be of better grade.
👏🏾 Great job 👏🏾
Only real leather now 😁
They turned out amazing. Great video as always. Thanks.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Absolutely beautiful work as always Pablo!!!!
Thank you, brother!
Beautiful restoration (and upgrade) as usual!
Thank you very much 👍
This was an excellent job. Those boots looks great!

Great work Pablo, these turned out beautiful!

Glad you like it!
Beautiful repair/upgrade you've done here. You did those tired boots justice.
Thank you for the kind words!

Good looking boots. Nice work.

Woah, that RFID chip was an interesting find! I had no idea they did that.
I have found a few over the years. Other brands as well

@@chinatownboy7482 what do you mean by "evidence value"? I'm not sure anyone claimed that RFID did anything more than track inventory/authenticity.
Great job with those! I sure like the looks of the half sole. When it's time to resole my Blacksmiths I'm doing that.
Thanks Mark! I love the look of the finished product as well!
Just look at those babies
Great job
Thanks!
Great video!! Keep filming Pablo
Thanks! Will do!
Nice to see a new video from you, looking forward to more of them!

Look at those heels of your boosts! They’re chunky and thick, enough to give you a height boost.
Haha yeah they are some serious heels! Thanks for watching
Nicely done Pablo👍 by the way got the link of that saphir conditioner that you use……like the idea that it dries matt and not shiny. How about Red wing oil would you recommend them also or they darken the leather.
I've never used red wing oil!
Bick 4 conditioner is also non-darkening.
Great audio and video quality! Nice White's boots! Do you have any experience with any of their hand welted boots to compare with your stitchdown model?
I have worked on and seen their hand welted boots. They are built like tanks, just harder to resole
Another excellent video, Pablo. Was that a Rapid E that you used? Do you think the Landis 12 would have been able to handle everything? Thanks!
Thanks! Yes the Landis can handle that for sure!
These look really cool. How does the rubber half sole setup hold up in your winters? Are they much more vulnerable than full rubber soles?

I wonder if the internets will attack Red Wing for using a cardboard midsole like they did Alden. Haha.
Hopefully not, I don't have many followers

Amazing work. May i ask, where did you get that leather apron from?
I got it from Dale at Dale's Leatherworks. Check out his website dalesleatherworks.com/
Beautiful job!
Is there a specific reason you went with the Cat's Paw Heels, instead of the Vibram Montangas? Thinking about them for my boots.
Just what the customer wanted. Both are great options
Good Job....waht Is the name of the saphir product for oiled leather that You use?
It's called Saphir Oiled Leather Cream
How long do the boots stay in the boot press ?
Couple minutes

Did he show the tag with the date? Im also surprised by this...
Probably a "leather board" which has leather pulp in it.

So disappointing to see a cardboard midsole and plastic heel rand, on a boot that sells at that price point.
I was surprised with the cardboard

Bravissimo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍾🫡
What is better to use for the boots cavity cork or leather?
That's a loaded question lol! Cork is industry standard, I would think leather would be ultimately longer lasting
