There is different levels on yousician designed to gradually build you up. It goes up to level 15. This is level 8. I think the full version that you're referring to is on here on level 12
I used Yousician starting off learning guitar few years ago but stopped paying subscription and just practised myself. Is it worth getting back into it learning Metallica songs?

Well done but recommend you Lear how to palm mute because that’s very important for learning Metallica or just metal its self.
If you want to play like Metallica it’s best to play with their music
