Great content I’m currently trying to learn how to dunk again I use to dunk in my late teens early 20s I’m now I’m 44 it’s been 20 years since my last dunk
Yooo Riq B vid ! I’m actually using your last plyo workout and as a beginner (28’’ vert) I can say it feels and works great. Been using them for around a month along with strength workout and I can tell I gained a bit of vert already. Even touched the rim for the first time ! Thanks a lot, you’re one of my biggest inspiration🔥
@@xxflamesxx926 umm for me personally the more the knee comes forward the more load on the tendon if you land mid foot you can produce more power coming back up also
Yes, You still need your heel to touch the ground but not in the way the rest or You do it. You have to do it like your heel Is another toe, grip the ground with it
If I train volleyball with my team like 4 times a week I need to do the day with max approach jumps or just I need a strength day and another day with this routine to improve my vertical jump?
Hey, how can i train weekly (as intense as it possibly be) how many days per week and do i train at a constant intensity and do i take a rest day after each day?
Do we finish the 4 sets of 5 box squats then move on to 4 sets of 5 seated jumps or after finishing the first set of box squats then move on to the first set of the seated jump and repeat?
do you have any opinion on how I can approach training for dunk goals as an endurance athlete pivoting to jump training? Im coming from an ultramarathon background, but now that i am training for dunk for the last few months, I am really finding out how specialized my muscle twitch was....
You've probably built a lot of slow twitch fatigue resistant muscle fibers. You start transferring to fast twitch by cutting down on long distance running volume and high intensity, high effort activities like plyometrics and strength/power training. Get into it very slowly and progressively
