I appreciate your lighthearted humorous moments like retrieving your camera & the obligatory "woooo" after that first sip of coffee. Keep expressing your humorous side, it makes your videos even more enjoyable.
I love seeing shots of people going back to retrieve their cameras 😂 I'd be very interested to see one vlog where you leave in a few seconds of the set up and the retrieval, before and after. I've always found the process of filming oneself pretty interesting
Having done that multiple times in my videos, it’s quite fun being creative choosing the shots, angles, perspectives, and location. But, if you are on a time crunch, those clips can add a lot of time, as. a solo adventure vlogger.
You got it all in just before the rain started to take over-Yay! Thanks for sharing that much needed adventure and that fantastic looking wagyu beef dish that you've prepared-awesome!!🍛🥩🥓🏞👍 See ya next time!!
Not to discourage your plans on the Bigfoot, but I’m loving these camper shell videos! it just feels right, you are one of the few who not only camps out but really enjoys nature for what it is-hard core hikes, snow boarding, fishing, the whole 9. You deserve 5 times the followers you have, and I’d bet money you’ll get there with videos like this.
I wonder if he's going to use the days he has left to fix it. I mean that extra month he was given, I'd take that opportunity to DO as much as I could and then chill out.
Great video, Jonathan. So good to see you getting back outside. Seems like you are getting back in balance after the difficulties renovating the Big Foot. The food looked awesome. A few weeks back, my daughter and I tried to replicate the steak you did in the cast iron pan in the mountains of Southern California. Came out pretty good! Good luck with the renovations! I'm looking forward to seeing more on that, plus more outstanding outdoor adventures!
Cheers with a can of big Blue O(Fosters), thought I would go with a theme(big Green O last time). Nice to see you enjoying another day in the wild, even though the rain made it a bit hurried. A tip for the BBQ, get the coals good and hot before cooking, make a bed of coals closer to the grill so heat is hotter. I like to make a bed of coals that slope from high on one side to low on the other. Then I can sear meat on the hot side and move it to the other to keep it warm, I guess you could say a bit of side to side cooking style.
Quick tip: when the coals are covered in a white ash, it’s a good indicator that they are hot enough to begin grilling. Usually takes at least 15-20 to reach that point. Great to see others out there enjoying nature!
Great video! I love watching you cook and prepare such delicious meals! very inspiring, have an awesome week ahead , and as always, thanks for sharing your adventures! and I love how simple the set up was, the truck with the topper seems very handy!
I'm glad you took a step back from the project! Now you will be rejuvenated for a fresh start -- Looking forward to another video this week. Your videos keep me going during this tough last semester of college!! Love from Columbia SC
We had a bald eagle in our yard a couple of springs ago. He was watching a squirrel in the neighbor’s yard. The little squirrel did get away. A miracle.😊
THIS is what I'm talking about!! Nice to see you back out in nature again! I will say, like many others here, we're looking forward to the camper rebuild to be finished, actually hoping we'll have a video update in the next couple of weeks. I know you're busy trying to get it done, so probably limiting your filming, so no worries there. Really like the fire pit/grill you've got, but the Snow Peak torch thing even more. That thing is busting'!!
Love the lil travel case on the roof rack, dont remember seeing that before 🤔. Glad you werw able get out, good luck gettin the camper done and out of the shop in next week. Hopefully weather is nice
Hello Jonathan great video like the scenery and love that sound of running water beautiful place and thank you for tips on how to make this delicious meal till next time 🙏💙🦋💙
I just came here to say that I love these side mission videos. However, I really hope you follow through with the camper build. Watching your channel is almost like watching a movie for me. The only happy ending I will accept is you having trouble with the camper(already done) and then powering through the difficulties and finishing it up strong and on top (literally) of your camper. I realize I'm only 1 stranger, but you motivate me, and I'm trying to return the favor and motivate you back. You rock no matter what, Jonathon.
Glad to hear that you’re continuing your work on the big foot. Love to see your progress. It’s also nice to see that you take time for yourself and keep your head right.
What an awsome spot! I don't think I would have been able to make myself leave. The gear you've got is super interesting and seems like a great addition to your set up. Take care and God bless always.
Peace...I have been wanting an Iceco for some time now and I made my purchase after you pulled out the Anker Everfrost Powered Cooler, I do like the features of the Everfrost but my heart was set on an Iceco. Keep on Truck'n....camping...cooking...fixing old campers...hiking....exploring and on and on its all good Bro.
Amazing views. Wow. Lucky you. Your Korean Waghu meal looked amazing as well. I've only had the ground Waghu. Anywho. I like how you show us your camera runs 😆
Love your videos anywhere-garage, mountains, rivers, etc! You look so much happier outside in nature. I believe the best place to get into a better headspace is outside-even for just a few hours. Beautiful spot! Just wondering if you have some sort of tarp?
Hi Jonathan 👋, your cookout looked mighty tasty 😋 😍. Like you, I too, love the balance between camper and truck shell camping. No doubt your camper will be nice when finished but maybe a canvas tent camp can be featured now and again too. That might give you a change-up ideas. Love your videos however you camp and cook. Be Well, Be Safe. SHALOM (PEACE AND FREEDOM).
Let me say this and not come across rude or disrespectful to anyone. I love your videos, I love the redo of the camper idk why some don’t! I love the camping videos, I am sorry to see the view count going down and down. May I suggest what I see a lot of my favorite RUclipsrs doing? 1. Do a trip minimalistic if you may, do a two day trip and camp eating nothing but what you get from the wild whether plant, catch, kill whatever it is! Those things attract viewers. 2. Do a feature, feature your girlfriend or something! Take her on a trip, and include her in convos and such on video. (Assuming she even wants to be on RUclips haha) That’s just the stuff I like!
I really love Anker products, they are a very reputable company, and I've bought many of their products for years. Their cooler is definitely interesting, and I like the design... very practical. Miss the updates on your camper shell, and hope it's coming along because cooking outside can be challenging. I guess it's probably ideal that the weather is warming up for you so you don't have to worry about it being cold or rainy as much for outside preparation. Give us an idea of how the other is going. I'm kind of curious. I hope that eventually it comes together for you!
Those bts glimpse of ur filming is my favorite addition... i love seeing those snippets from time to time. People get to appreciate the effort creators does on making their videos. If i'm not mistaken it was @CaseyNeistat who popularized the style of film making here on RUclips, people thought he is too extra and wasting too much time doing that on his videos back then but a decade later creators like you still using it proves that there is nothing wrong with making these extra effort for the audience... we get to see these different angles and beautiful views.
I have encouraged you to keep going on the camper but I also just learned that Tufport canopies are coming out with an overland slide in unit that might be up your alley. They make slide ins for contractors and medic units and are located in Delta BC I'm excited to see what they look like and the price point.
Love seeing people enjoying their time, glad you’re back out in your habitat man. Also, not sure if somebody else already mentioned it but the hyperlink for the torch isn’t working for some reason, get a 404 error when I click it. Still found the torch though, just wanted to be able to give you credit for your affiliate link!
I was hoping to see rice paper as part of the ingredients, but it's all good. There's kimchi at least.😁 Enjoying these types of videos, thanks for sharing 👍
I appreciate your lighthearted humorous moments like retrieving your camera & the obligatory "woooo" after that first sip of coffee.
Keep expressing your humorous side, it makes your videos even more enjoyable.
The wonders living the PNW life. Thanks for sharing
haha the retrieving cam shots... we all gotta do it! i'm going to start running for mine too. and so true about the river spots. loved this one man!
also, hello fellow snow peak connoisseur 🫡
The steakhouse I work at uses kurobuta pork for bacon and it’s so delicious! We also carry Snake River Farms American Wagyu steaks, yum!
I love seeing shots of people going back to retrieve their cameras 😂 I'd be very interested to see one vlog where you leave in a few seconds of the set up and the retrieval, before and after. I've always found the process of filming oneself pretty interesting
He sure gets his steps in 😅
Yeah it’s fun. You can get really creative with it, depending on how much time you wanna out into it
Having done that multiple times in my videos, it’s quite fun being creative choosing the shots, angles, perspectives, and location. But, if you are on a time crunch, those clips can add a lot of time, as. a solo adventure vlogger.
In slo-mo...lol
Glad your back to camping. Always enjoy your videos.
The great outdoors is really so beautiful and then if you could hear the sound of the river in the wind, it makes it so good
Sooo nice to see you back doing camping and food prep and eating , delicious foods.

People overwhelmingly seemed to hate it and were downright nasty about it in the comments. So I’m guessing he took that onboard.
Making me hungry as usual. Always good to watch any of your videos. Thanks for!

Just being outside in a nice place seems to always make food better.
Enjoyed watching you going out and having a relaxing adventure. ❤❤❤
Seeing the kimchi made my day! I used to live in Korea and you chose to make the tastiest meal with Korean food. Thank you!❤
Hey Jonathan, thanks for the cookout! My favorite is always watching you cook and eat for some weird reason..haha Good luck on the camper!
It is a blessing since your from Los Angeles 🎉 to have that river and mountains so close
We appreciate all the work you put into your videos. 🤗
Glad to see you out adventuring!
Great video! I love watching you cook and prepare such delicious meals! very inspiring, have an awesome week ahead , and as always, thanks for sharing your adventures! and I love how simple the set up was, the truck with the topper seems very handy!

Hi Jonathan ☺️ hello from Eastern Utah, love your vids & energy. ,💜
I really love Anker products, they are a very reputable company, and I've bought many of their products for years.
