Just sucks I wish No one would ever had to hide there love and if u was older it's great but jealousy that u couldn't just be u and love who u wanted with out fear... but someone has to pave the way and at least we no that he world is getting at a better place so others don't have to go thru what they have had to go thru...
I felt like I grew up with this show...I started dating women when I was 18 the show came out couple yrs later I'm 44 so I was 23..my birthday is 22 of Dec so i believe I was 23 but to me I feel like I grew up I guess became a adult during it and was so grateful for there being something like this too watch and see its OK to be me especially liven in a small town in east tennessee...There was like 6 open lesbians here and I moved here and was the one that help change it here so to speak wig he few other girls..Now it's bouy become the norm for females to be bi... But I'm glad to say I help make it this way and thankful for his show to help me know its OK to be me....

I didnt know thos show touch so many people all over the world... As a lesbian i knew aĺot of hardships people went thru for the world to start to except us but till i watch the cable girls it never hit me as it did on one of the episodes, it got me thinking about the harships queer women went thru in the past.. i balled my eyes out for couple days...As im reflecting back now it brings tears to my eyes, I wish people could of just loved who they wanted and just been left alone...love never hurts others because of genders... The L word came out as i hit like 22,23 and i moved to a small town in TN and was 1 of 6 lesbians that was fully out and we stood tall and never back down and am proud to say paved the way little by little. THIS Town has grown so much and times have changed now the next generation will have it easier then the previous... This show help us to know its ok to be us and there is others out there who understand and that your not alone... i only wish that queer women of all past could of seen or be here to love who they wanted too... So i say when you love on your parnter never forget all the ones in the past who died or was mistreated for just trying to love another human... 😢 LOVE IS LOVE

Another Lesbian Couple Turned Me And My Girlfriend at the time on To The L Word! I am 57 Now and I Have Watched All 6 Seasons Over and over again!! I haven't gotten Sick Of It Either!! I'm From Los Angeles CA all Of My Life. We are Excepted here! I was really happy About Other Girls and Women Who Live in the Midwest or the South Because they Deserve to Know that Being Gay Is OKAY!! It's Not Fair if they can't watch something so natural.
