It was a culture of fear, harassment and bullying, led by one of the most powerful men in Australian music: Denis Handlin.
His reign came to an end in June, when he was fired after the company announced an investigation into its “workplace culture”.
After speaking with more than 100 current and former Sony staff, Four Corners uncovers the true nature of that culture, where bad behaviour was normalised.
And for the first time, former senior Sony staff reveal how the company's global head office knew about the alleged abuse, but failed to protect its Australian staff for almost 40 years.
