    ICS is so versatile for me and my fishing. Set one rod up number of different ways to use it with the interchangeable feeders.
    Lee Kerry is a master at feeder fishing, comes across so well on camera too.

    Another great video from Lee, just one question? What about a 10 great bomb? The 10 great stem is smaller in diameter and wouldn't fit the ICS demonstrated by Lee,or am I missing something? Still a great watch 👍

      Coarse Pellets are a great starting point for most commercial fisheries. However, you can't beat the humble maggot for a catch anything bait :)

    All is well , i might give it a go , but if i use a 30 or 40g rod how do i suppose to cast the bait up feeder full of pellets or groundbait?

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  Год назад +1

      The casting weights are refer to unloaded feeders

    • @DjTommy2008
      @DjTommy2008 Год назад

      @@UKprestoninnovations Yes , i know that , but if i use an 11ft rod with the casting weight of 40g , and fill the bait up feeder with groundbait , pellets or even corn , the full weight of that even with the medium sized one is well over 50/60g , i'll brake the rod with such a load. 😟

      I think there is a Preston feeder feeda rod for bait ups?

    • @DjTommy2008
      @DjTommy2008 Год назад

      @@Mark-mo6gt then what's the ics systems purpose? Isn't for not having to change the rod your fishing with with a bait up one ? My opinion is , there is a need for a smaller , lighter bait up feeder, so if use either a 30g supera sl or a 40/40g ignition ( which are at the moment my favorite rods) and I fish with a method or a window feeder to have the capability to transport a bigger amount of bait , be that groundbait or pellets without the risk of braking the rod. It's only my personal opinion. Please don't judge me 😃

      You’re dead right Tommy
      All my gear is Preston but I do wonder about some of the stuff
      I have the bait ups and they are huge
      I only use them in the margins and fish over the feed with a 7ft Wandzee my best investment ever

    Hi Lee
    Preston sell an ICS distance feeder but you never use it in your videos?
    Even in the distance casting videos you use a heavy hybrid or banjo xr feeder?
    Does the ICS Distance feeder not work?

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  Год назад

      Yes, they work great. Lee just prefers a Banjo for his long distance carp fishing

    • @UKprestoninnovations

      It's personal preference. But, the Banjo XR has a forward loading and raised walls which make casting longer distances easier

    The only draw back with this product isn't the build quality because they are well made which I like but it's abit misleading the idea is to fit any ics system onto the quick change system but Preston the small stems don't fit the large feeders the smaller ones fit the big stem but have a massive stem sticking out of it you can't really claim the one size fits all sort of deal because it simply doesn't.
