- When I bought my 4th Model 3, a Silver Long Range Rear Wheel Drive (LRRWD), I didn't want to make the same mistakes that I made in the past by hurting my range with "customizing" by changing the wheels. I was on the look out for a nice looking wheel that didn't "kill my range".
I found the EV01+ wheels by Fast Wheels! I love they they are an alloy wheel and not a hub cap. You can use the wheels with or without the inserts.

how heavy are Tesla wheels? how heavy are the ones that come with the aero disk? does aero (drag) or weight makes the most difference when it comes to achieving better range? especially at commoner city speed limits (speeds above/below 50mph??)...
Good to know about the third party wheels and that standard hub caps play a purpose.

I pre-ordered my EV01+ last year. I ended up putting the stock tire on them and Hakkapeliitta R3 on the stock aero wheels with covers for winter.

Hi Marc. Is it possible to remove FAST logo middle cap and replace it with Tesla logo? Or, if not what did you end up doing?

Hey Marc, I had no idea you had a RUclips channel. Subbed!! You know I'm a total car nut so I'm here now. Does anyone make carbon fiber wheels for Tesla's yet? All Koenigsegg's come with them and now you can get them on the Mustang GT 500 and many aftermarket manufacturers are turning them out too. I think a cool areo carbon fiber wheel would serve dual functions: 1. it would reduce weight. Each wheel would weigh about 10 pounds. 2. you could make any shape you wanted with the correct molds and fashion in some areo blades. Anyway, keep it up. I watch a lot of car content on here and the possibilities are endless.

I don’t know of anyone that makes carbon fiber wheels for Tesla’s. Probably because the coat involves, I would assume. That would be a great idea though to shave weight. I guess it just depends on the cost versus how much would it save you in energy cost and efficiency. We need to get together soon!
Getting ready to buy these for the bolt… I’m going 16” for the best ride and lowest weight.

👊 The spoiler is an RPM performance spoiler (like the stock model 3 performance apoiler) but mine is just black (abs) because I wrapped it in Dark Satin Grey also. The lowering springs on VIN89 are the Unplugged Performance Moderate Springs. 👍

Can the cover cap still be changed to a Tesla cap?
I’ve drove and road my bike on many of the roads you filmed. Pretty cool. I assume you bought a used model 3. Where do you recommend buying used Tesla’s?
Very cool! Yea, my silver model 3 was used. All of the others were new. I found the silver model 3 on craigslist. I am not sure if there is a best place to buy one... I looked all over (twitter, Facebook, Craigslist and so forth).

Do you know if someone took advantage of the EV federal tax credit one year can they get the tax credit again in another year or is this a one time deal?
Thanks! I believe you can do the tax credit for 2 years unless they’ve changed the law.

Yea, that’s my wife’s car and our family car.
1. Was your performance model at factory height or was Lowered even more ? 2. How did you go from a performance model back to a standard range ?.....
The performance was lowered with Unplugged Performance Moderate Lowering Springs. I switched from the Performance at the time because my job change and I needed to save money.
