Daenerys being completely immune to fire is a show only thing. In the books she’s only unharmed by fire when she hatched the dragons and that a magical event with blood magic with Drogo and the witch. Targaryens generally have a lot of resistance to heat but not immunity to heat or being burnt by fire
That Blackwood knight Ser Willem was the kid who won the duel when Rhaenyra was looking for suitors for marriage
Though I'm completely neutral, I can't help but have pity for Aegon. All his life, he was neglected by his parents (both Viserys and Alicent), so he has a desire for affection and approval. Even though he didn't want to be King, he's trying to do his best, but everyone keeps plans from him and disregards his thoughts. All he wants is to prove himself and that's what nearly gets him killed
It’s a really sad cycle, Alicent was dismissive of her sons because of how Otto treated her, Aegon then started bullying Aemond to take some of that pain away and to hurt someone else like he has been hurt, which then leads to Aemond despising his brother. This is why I love the greens, they are so layered as characters.
i would agree with you if it wasnt for the fact that hes a literal rapist. he raped his maid in season 1 and she got fired and is now working in that bar we saw last episode. she was the girl who got slapped on the ass by the old guy. so thats her life now cuz Aegon raped her. Getting sexually harassed by old people in a bar.
In the books, the Targaryens arent immune to fire. Thats an aspect they added for Dany, and is supposed to apply to only her. She's special, in a sense. Although it does seem that Targaryens have some resistance to heat, but theyre not immune to fire.
"The two dragons twined about one another in midair, a deadly dance of fire and fury. Flames erupted from their jaws as they breathed dragonfire, the sky lighting up with their ferocious battle." The dance has truly began also I feel like it’s more they have a fire resistance and it’s not really a hard and fast rule. At least that’s how I interpret it from the books.
They did a great distinguishing between the dragons and imbuing them with personality. Their fighting was like both birds of prey and reptiles and sad like dogfights. Good job, show

Rhaenys is Vicerys and Daemons cousin. She’s the daughter their father Baelon’s old brother Aemon the first born son of King Jaehaerys. Both Aemon and Baelon died young hence why she was considered to be Queen over Vicerys
Rhaenys was cousin to Viserys and Daemon. Their grandfather was King Jahaerys.
It’s clear that Alyn is Colys’s bastard. Rhaenys, being the boss that she is, told Corlys to legitimize him and make him part of the family.
I interpreted the end that Rhaenys assumed Aemond had fled the battle field, and was headed back to Dragonstone. She was cruising around and saw no sign of Vaghar, so she headed to the sea. You saw the castle on a cliff side and the sea right next to it. They said several times that Dragonstone was right across the water from Rooks Rest. So Aemond must have known that she’d take that route to head back to Dragonstone.
Rhaenyras children are Targaryen and if Alyn and his brother are corlyses children they are velaryon meaning they have dragon blood and can claim a dragon, team black still has all the dragons under dragon stone and when Rhaenys said that Meleys was there largest dragon she meant there largest dragon with a rider Vermithor the second largest dragon still alive is on dragon stone and can be claimed by team black.
I’ll give this to Ser Criston, regardless of what else he is, he is a competent battle trained commander and a good warrior, when it comes to war the man is no fool.. also the Targaryen thing not being burned by fire isn’t true Dany was an exception in GOT

Targaryens are resistant to normal fire but dragon fire is a completely different type of heat that not even the Targaryens can withstand.

Aemond wasn’t putting HIS sword away. He was taking Blackfyre and the catspaw dagger that he found off Aegon’s body or on the ground from when he fell.
28:09 Targaryen’s actually aren’t fire proof. In Game of thrones that was supposed to be a ONE TIME magical thing special to only dany. GRRM has spoken about this. The game of thrones show runners got carried away and made her fire proof.

No guy, Aegon was truly just desperate to prove himself and was pushed over the edge by Allicents words.
Allicent is such a terrible mother, Aegon was genuinely asking for his mother advice & help and that's all she says. Plus Allicent can't even comfort her grieving son in ep 2, instead she goes & has sex with b*tch Criston.
Also, Vhagar & the red queen Meleys, are both FEMALE dragons btw, both old but of course Vhagar is great great granny age being over 200+ years old.
Late ass comment because I’m just getting around to watching these but in the scene with Aemond at the end, he was taking Aegon’s sword Blackfyre, not putting his own down. He also picks up the catspaw dagger. The show really didn’t make it clear that he was basically looting Aegon’s body.
