I don’t really miss the drawbars as I don’t play enough organ at the moment to use them so the adjustments on the touch screen are more than fine enough. I understand for some the boot up time might be long and could be an issue for gigging if the power goes out but it would definitely be an improvement for my bar gigs as the samples are much better and the lossless sound between switching patches is a huge benefit. This is more than adequate for my needs as a writer/producer of my own rock/blues music as well as a gigging board for the classic rock bar band I was part of. It is a decent bit heavier than the kross but feels much more solid especially the keybed but not crazy that it would be difficult to bring to a gig.

Nice demo. I hear a lot about all those engines... I loved the sounds from the Triton like for example Dolphin ride etc... Can these engines pull this off?
On the Nautilus 61 AT - Does it have Windows software or an editor to control the keyboard from the computer? I believe when it first came out it did not have this software. Up at Korg, I think I see something that looks like it exists?
On a Windows computer I have an AI (Audio Interrace) connected via USB. I assume it is NOT possible to daisy chains the USB connection of the Nautilus into the computer some way at the same time? Is it one or the other on the USB connections? I think this is a DAW limitation to where it wants to see one dedicated AI at a time? I do have 2 computers side by side. By using both computers, perhaps I can pull off some of what I want to do and have more capability... Do you have any thoughts on this?
How do you get stereo OUTPUT when using headphones? All I get is MONO. You sure must be doing a lot of DAW processing because all I every get out of my Nautilus is junk.
Hi, thanks for your interest! The Nautilus does come with a software editor, which provides deeper control over settings on the instrument when it’s connected to your computer. You may also be able to convert sample libraries from other formats, such as Native Instruments Kontakt, to the format accepted by the Nautilus - I’m not aware of an officially supported method for doing this, but there do seem to be some folks who have had success with it on the Korg forums: www.korgforums.com I hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! Hi, Howard! Thanks for your interest. The USB-B port on the Nautilus is strictly for external MIDI control surfaces. It will not recognize an audio interface like your Steinberg. GREETINGS...... Peter here. Thx for a vivid review of the Nautilus. My humble question is..... Will the sound cut when you enter Global Mode for a KEY TRANSPOSE. Or is there a dedicated button for Transpose.
Hi, Peter! Thanks for your interest. Since there isn't a dedicated transpose button on the Nautilus, you would have to enter the Global menu in order to access the Key Transpose feature. One potential workaround for this would be to create a preset Program or Combination that is already transposed ahead of time. It honestly went downhill the moment he turned reverb on the piano, it was decent just dry but the samples in my Electro 6 will walk circles around the Nautilus.
@@NOLASkaGuitarist I take your point, and maybe the Electro 6 has better sounds. I still find it hard to believe that Korg would put out such a terrible sounding machine. There's more to this story than meets the ear.
Saw elsewhere someone said the video from about 8 minutes on is in mono which may explain a bit but still even in the beginning with the piano I wasn't impressed. Maybe bad audio post production too
Hi Kostas, great question. The Nautilus can import the basic sounds/samples from the Kronos, but there may be some issues importing combi sounds from the Kronos due to changes in the firmware. You will likely be able to recreate whatever sound you had on the Kronos but it will just take some extra work. Thanks! When will these be available? Given that it has many Kronos sounds and engines - it seems parallel to when Korg did the Triton LE . I've had the Krome for 8 years. I like the pianos, Rhodes. The B3's are decent but there is really only 1 great drum kit. Is Korg planning a successor to the Kronos? Its as if they are partially coming out with this as they have already sold to the segment to pay for a $3k board.
It is possible to migrate songs from a Krog Krome? I understand there will be some quite a bit of mapping involved to set the patches right to sound similar to how it was programmed on the Korg. But just wondering if the MIDI data can be migrated from te Korg Krome created in sequencer mode and somehow move it over to the Nautilus.
Great question! Yes, you can migrate all of that data using the .SNG files from the Krome. You’re right that there will be mapping involved and complexity will depend on the arrangement, but the Nautilus will allow you to associate the audio files and mapping for the samples. I hope this helps, but reach out if you have any other questions! Connor Smith, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1793, connor_smith@sweetwater.com
does this keyboard include the "legendary" programs that come with the Kronos? I mean those sounds that replicate the instruments of some classic pop songs (Imagine, Supertramp, Journey, Beatles, etc)?

When I read the specs it looks as though the Korg Nautilus will actually work with USB MIDI controllers like the Novation Launchpad X, the Korg microKEY, and the Roli Lightpad Block. Can anybody confirm that this is so? Usually USB MIDI controllers are just for use with a DAW.
Hi, thanks for your interest! Yes, you can split the keyboard on the Nautilus series. This could be as simple as playing bass on the left hand and piano on the right, or you can create complex combinations of up to 16 different sounds with splits, layers, and velocity switches. I hope this helps - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! Caleb Lowrey, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1620, caleb_lowrey@sweetwater.com

Nice demo. I hear a lot about all those engines... I loved the sounds from the Triton like for example Dolphin ride etc... Can these engines pull this off?
Looks and sounds cool : )
I like the fact that this keyboard has less bottons
Great finally hearing some bass patches, does it have any moog like bass sounds?
On the Nautilus 61 AT - Does it have Windows software or an editor to control the keyboard from the computer? I believe when it first came out it did not have this software. Up at Korg, I think I see something that looks like it exists?
But engines should be pretty powerful 👍🏻..
Even that sound to next sound transformation with no drop or cut is absolutely...👍🏻👍🏻
you have neglected to demonstrate the korg nautilus harpsichord sound. does it have a harpsichord sound? thanks
Greetings.....
Is it very possible to pick and choose your drum sounds with the multisounds page and save it in a program.
Guys the Korg Nautilus sounds much better in real life. I think the audio is messed up in some way.
Get the Korg SV2 for this price. It sounds way better and not so cheesy.
Over 5 months since all these Nautilus videos appeared and still in Pre-Order, kind of lost my enthusiasm for this purchase.
4:00 for further reference
How do you get stereo OUTPUT when using headphones? All I get is MONO. You sure must be doing a lot of DAW processing because all I every get out of my Nautilus is junk.
How does this stack up against the Yamaha modx
Is there a way to externaly customize a sound then import it into the piano to play it after. If so is there a video you made showing us this?
Hi, thanks for your interest! The Nautilus does come with a software editor, which provides deeper control over settings on the instrument when it’s connected to your computer. You may also be able to convert sample libraries from other formats, such as Native Instruments Kontakt, to the format accepted by the Nautilus - I’m not aware of an officially supported method for doing this, but there do seem to be some folks who have had success with it on the Korg forums:
www.korgforums.com
I hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again!

Could i use my Steinberg audio interface that has a microphone preamp and then use this as an audio input on the Nautilus through the usb b port?
No way. You can use dynamic mics with Nautilus directly, though.
Hi, Howard! Thanks for your interest. The USB-B port on the Nautilus is strictly for external MIDI control surfaces. It will not recognize an audio interface like your Steinberg. However, you could connect an external mic preamp to one of the analog audio inputs on the Nautilus. Feel free to reach out to me directly with any further questions, and thanks again!

Great video! Quick question. Does anyone know if the Nautilus will import sequences (SNG) produced on the Kronos? Thank you!
is it easier to play instrumentals at speed on a keyboard korg nautilus 73 or korg nautilus 88 nt? thank you
Hi, is the chassis of korg Nautilus 88 in metal all around..I mean the bottom aswell? Thanks
Hello! Yes, the Korg Nautilus 88 is a fully metal chassis (with wooden endcaps). If you've ever seen the Korg Kronos in person, they're built in a very similar way.

What about AftetTouch here ???!!!😊
How about the leslie effect on the organs? good?
Do you know if piano and EPiano engines are based on sampling or virtual acoustic modelling?
Unfortunately the video actually seems to sound really..."synthetic".
For more details, you can see Korg's complete user manual for the Nautilus at this link:

There's something wrong with the sound of the video, I can't believe the keyboard sounds this bad.
Maybe bad audio post production too
@@NOLASkaGuitarist Yes the reverb sounds more like a warble, and the video is in mono for a good part.
Yes, most of the demo is in mono. I've heard this before with Sweetwater demos. Don't understand it.
how about showing some ballroom genre, & country ?
You are talented and you know Korg. Thanks. Do you have a RUclips channel?
nice video. i. have a question. can nautilus read combi sounds from korg kronos ?

Is the Nautilus Korg Keyboard in Bangladesh ? If it be here so I need one of this Kb.
does this keyboard include the "legendary" programs that come with the Kronos? I mean those sounds that replicate the instruments of some classic pop songs (Imagine, Supertramp, Journey, Beatles, etc)?

When I read the specs it looks as though the Korg Nautilus will actually work with USB MIDI controllers like the Novation Launchpad X, the Korg microKEY, and the Roli Lightpad Block. Can anybody confirm that this is so?
Usually USB MIDI controllers are just for use with a DAW.
Hi Jacob, I’d like to know if the Nautilus 61 key has a split keyboard?
Hi, thanks for your interest! Yes, you can split the keyboard on the Nautilus series. This could be as simple as playing bass on the left hand and piano on the right, or you can create complex combinations of up to 16 different sounds with splits, layers, and velocity switches.
I hope this helps - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again!

Would the Korg nanoKONTROL Studio and the Korg PadKontrol work with the Nautilus? At the same time with a USB Hub?
Hello! The Korg NanoKontrol Studio will unfortunately not work with the Nautilus because it's exclusively a USB MIDI device which must be plugged into a computer. The older PadKontrol device does have a 5 pin MIDI jack on it, which can be plugged into the Nautilus to trigger sounds or control patches within the keyboard.

Is it a replacement for Kronos or Krome ?
I’m thinking Krome. This isn’t meant to replace Kronos I think. Maybe something else
Probably. I litteraly has almost exactly the same panel.
It’s definitely the Krome the 73 keys version gave it away. It goes from C to C just like the krome instead of from E to E in the case of the Kronos.
Fantastic demo Jacob, although it has to be said that Korg lied when they said that this Nautilus wouldn't be replacing the Kronos. Because now the Kronos is being discontinued.

Never really loved the bass patches on these keyboards, outside of just a couple the Triton used to have one called dark R&b bass which was pretty badass but everything else didn't sound very realistic
