This is for airbus320dfw I think the reason for express jet not having jet bridge is because us airways are using those jetbridge for larger jet. I know they are getting more gate that Delta are giving up as part of gate swap agreement. I'm not sure if those express is moving to Delta former gates. As for American giving up one gate is due to reduction of flight number serve at Reagan as part of Bankruty reorganization. Hope the answer help.
The terminal building is looking very modern, airy , pleasant and welcome. In particular I,d like the inummerable rounded roof-structure design. But at the other handside I,d like the Embrear 190 regio-jets as well. In my eyes these are the most comfy, efficient and colorful regio-jets, which were ever build before. But at most I,d like the Air Dolomiti and the Alitalia Express paintsheme.
