Great job on this video! You really covered the topic well and it shows how this condition can really be costly not only in money but also in time. Also even though it really affects people, often insurance companies don't even cover the treatments. I remember when I was looking to get the iontophoresis, I checked with the insurance company and they would not cover it, so I had to buy it on my own, and it was very expensive.
Good point about the purses and bags. I didn't even think about that, but you are right. I have a bag that I used to carry for work that is like a laptop bag and the handle is totally discolored as expected.
Also I avoid jewelry. With sweaty hands, I feel like rings would not be a good idea as they could just kind of trap the sweat underneath and make it hard to dry.
Good point about the game controllers too. I used love video games when I was a kid, but I remember always sweating on the controller. It was very awkward especially when playing a game with friends where you have to pass the controller back and forth for each turn. I remember that was one of the main reasons I stopped playing video games.
That's great to hear you were able to do the magic trick without sweating! It's awesome when something like that happens!

Hey collective! I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday. Sorry about the insurance coverage, it's really mind boggling that insurance wont cover some treatments. My dermatologist told me I'd have to buy an iontophoresis device out of pocket, as well :(
As I was editing this video, I thought about how ALL things with handles get ruined with our HH. From purses, to laptop bags, to brief cases and baby bags. I specifically remember feeling so awkward when someone would ask me to hold their purse/backpack for them or something and I'd pass it back to them with a damp handle *awkward* lol.
The video game controller sharing was always so cringey! I feel so sad that you weren't able to fully get into video games because of your HH. It's never to late to get into them now if you decide to give them another shot! ;)
Thanks always for being here, and sorry about my rambling haha!

Thank you for sharing this. I was curious on the treatment options out there. I want to try Dermadry!

Yeah! There is so many more advancements being made in terms of treatments, I can't wait to see what else becomes available in the future :)
I'd LOVE to try dermadry, too! Heard so many excellent things about it.

I’ve done Botox twice for forehead sweating and it didn’t help at all. I think I spent 1500 total.

That is so expensive!!! I oftentimes worry if I were to get botox that it would not work well for me, too, but I haven't tried it. I'm really sorry it didn't work after spending all the money =(
