No it isn't. Blacktail can pump out way more damage. Punisher is only good against hordes and why would you be using a handgun on hordes if you managed your resources properly? 😂
Literally punisher is worse in every way except clip size and that doesn't matter when your doing twice the damage with blacktail. That being said sg09 is king. Crits are always most important in any game where you deal damage.
@@Scorpitaur I've tried them all and got S+ across the board and all achievements. Punisher is the best for anyone who knows how to utilize the penetration power. Best accuracy, best fire rate, best capacity, can use laser. Shoots through wooden shields and most armor. Stun locks multiple enemies. Devastating in pinch points. Easily clears novistador ballroom by itself on Professional. Shoots through spider guys to hit plagas on their backs. The only gun that is close is the Blacktail. Would probably prefer that gun for speed running.
@@Scorpitaur Because said horde can be stun locked by Punisher at a medium distance. No need to waste shotgun ammo unless they get too close. Why would you waste good resources when you can use ammo that is cheap and plentiful? Oh, and you're going to spend 401,000 pesetas, plus purchase price on a fully upgaded Blacktail. You only spend 279,000 on a fully upgraded Punisher and the gun is free. You will have the better gun much faster with the Punisher.

It would have been a fair bit of backtracking ,but I think you could have got back to the merchant and got your knife repaired not that you needed it..

One does not simply take a year off from RE4 and come back to play this mod. BTW, the Punisher was ALWAYS an upgrade over the starting gun.
