Since Blackout 2 in 2009 and Reggie in 2010, Redman has been rather discreet. We know he's working on Muddy Waters 2 , his new album, but the project keeps getting pushed back. So when the Rican rapper comes out of his silence and does it in music, our ears are bound to be curious.
Nigga Whut , one of the most used gimmicks in Uncle Sam hip-hop: this is the title that Redman chose to give us a wake-up call. Produced by Triple-A, the sound should be part of his next LP, if we ever see the color. We must admit that with punchlines as effective as "I'm like an alcoholic, it's all about bars", Redman has just tickled our impatience. Especially since the rapper admitted some time ago to working on Blackout 3 with his eternal buddy Method Man. At this pace, we are not about to see it any time soon, but hope keeps us alive!
