listening to this while driving thru the Jungles of the Yucatan after exploring Mayan ruins, in the night, with lightning on the horizon was a highlight of my life
Their records were only released in France back in the 80s. They were recently re-issued during the 2000s and nationwide interest in the underground brought them bak into the light. The chicks in this band are hot. Another 80s group getting recognition and re-releases is synthwave group "From Nursery to Misery" Check'em out :)
@@Njordin2010 Try COIL if you haven't heard of them. Throbbing Gristle, SPK, NON (Boyd Rice), Fake Orgasm. Thats all industrial noise. Otherwise if club music is your thing, check out ORBITAL.
Since I was only born yesterday, I sincerely wish I had been born at such a time from which I could fully appreciate and realize endless replays of this coolest and grooviest of incantations.
You have the point, listened for the first time, and replayed it already, that's very interesting piece of work, simple, yet catching, it get's deep in your mind... aliens ahead! Addiction ALERT
Absolutely! "Inside Out", "Love on My Side" ," "My Anaylst "Assez" to name a few of my favourites! almost 40 songs in my Dupont playlist :) "Martin Dupont & 80's "New Wave" bass synth sax & clarinet"
Alas, I must shiveringly declare, "Ah, but for the unrequited plight of those who would or will never partake of the grooviness that is "He Saw the Light" by Martin Dupont: thou shalt find the meagrest succor via something really dumb.
Il y en a plusieurs, en particulier un fabuleux coffret Américain avec 5 vinyles. Martin Dupont est à mes yeux, un des groupes majeurs Français des années 80 avec Trisomie 21, Clair obscur. C'est tellement original et magnifique.
I can hear the same trumpet/elephant noise in the chorus. And the rhythm isn't far off. I was googling it but couldn't find any reference. I'm glad someone else noticed the similarity!!
An American record company called Minimal Wave made the video (for RUclips). The woman who runs that label made it. The music is Martin Dupont. Minimal Wave re-released this music.
Martin Dupont is cool music for cool people 😎
You are so fucking rad.
I really mean it.
:shy:
This, in particular, IS EVEN COOLER THAN THAT.

New favorite song alert. This has been in my head for the past three days and I'm wondering where this song has been all my life. Crazy? But true.

Fucking amazing
Has NIN (Trent Reznor) ever given them credit for his sound? Even the scream sound he sampled!
This sounds nothing like industrial music and vice versa.
@@thirdstrike4u I disagree.
He may not be award of their music or even a fan. A lot of bands from that era were underground.
