Cool beyond belief! I almost never like most of these new doom bands, but there are a few excpetions that just grab you with their sound and atmosphere. And this is one of these cool litle gems. For me personally Jessica Thoth is the queen of female doom bands, nobody can top her voice and performance, but this here comes pretty close. Well done. Absolutely waiting for the debut!
Agreed. As soon as I listened to this, I played both EPs through 3 or 4 times consecutively. They've got the nuances and overall vibe down to a T, and that doesn't occur without having that special _something_ goin' on, ya know. And yes, Jex Thoth! ...wowzer bowser. Why a woman with such a voice and stage charisma isn't making music full-time is beyond me ...alas, the commercialized, mass marketed world we inhabit excludes and weeds out many of the genuine wonders. Pearls before swine. The 2000s gave us the holy trinity of woman-lead occult bands... Hands of Orlac, Jex Thoth and Blood Ceremony. Anyways... I too await Hail Darkness' debut full-length!!!

The setup in the beginning has SO. MUCH. Connected (powerful) response, monolithic cults sprout serious individuality. Why else put emphasis in only one sigil? Powerful respone.

Good band with excellent vocals, but instead of watching cheesy horror movies from the 1980s you should've considered learning about the real thing. if still interested I highly recommend starting with the three books of Occult Philosophy by Heinrich Agrippa.
