using the S08 while watching the video, they are amazing to my ears and I bought 4 of them, 2 for me (2 colors) and 2 for present to friends.. I really like the timbre and the overall signature, they play perfectly with classical (orchestral, chamber or solo) and definitely they warm up with jazz - thanks for the review! you confirmed all my impressions :)
First of all, I haven't heard the OD200. But it's waaay better than the Dynabird. If I was on my way out the door and had Delci and S08 on the table I could close my eyes and grab either one and be happy.
Hello, I currently have a EW200 and Im thinking of getting a new IEM and im conflicted between getting a S08 or DELCI AE. id love to hear your suggestion
I'm looking for a warm iem and now i'm split between the delci and the s08, do you think the s08 has noticeably better technicalities? I listen mostly to some extreme metal which has a lot of instrumentation so im kinda looking for something warm but still technical and detailed overall.
@@PrimeAudioReviews I think i will just go with the kefine delci then, cheaper and i haven't seen a single bad review of it, thanks for the input and nice review as always.
I'm still looking for my first planar and this tuning seems to be what I'm looking for. I don't want a fatiguing signature but I also want to hear what planars can do. It appears like the S08 strikes a good balance between these two competing traits. Even as the S12 series price reduces over time, I think the S08 will work better for me.
I have them and they're perfectly fine for metal and rock. AndyAudioVault also did a review on them and he didn't recommend them for metal but they seem to perform fine.
I'd take S12 Pro generally over it but S08 stage sounds better and I became a sucker for stage lately. Just a few more days until Meze Alba is shipping and then I'll have tuning, stage, and comfort in one package.
@@PrimeAudioReviews is the s08 better than the f1 pro?I'll EQ the one I pick,I just want to see if there's any actual difference aside from tuning.the f1 pro is a couple $ cheaper
I love my S12 Pro's but I will say that all the tips in the box absolutely suck apart from the foam ones but I don't use foam tips.. The S08 is £89 on Amazon UK right now and the Pro's are £139, I'd definitely skip the S12 Pro's to give the S08's a shot with that price difference. Also, the S12 Pro's do come with a nice modular cable too yeah.
nice sound with very poor design that makes the very uncomfortable to use even more so then S12 so if you want a Planar with great Bass S15 are the Only choice but very much Overpriced

Good choice!
You brazy, dog
S12 Pro does have a modular cable. Love the S08. If they were only a little easier to fit. I have a massive ear tip collection so I got it sorted out.
Thanks for that!
@@PrimeAudioReviews What were the ear tips you settled on..?
The 7Hz tips - I can't find them online anywhere but they're similar to the DUNU S&S tips but softer, larger and more comfortable
U- Shape sound signatures are starting to be my second favorite after neutral warm tunings 😬
Good review 👍🏾
Does it sound better than Kefine Delci and Oriveti od200 ?

Either one is good - Delci AE is better than the original though. If you're sensitive to treble S08 is safer.

S08 is the perfect introduction to planar IEMs!
is it good for metal and hard rock music?
It's perfect for that.

Those look very nice, they're almost double the price of the S08's though (from what I can see anyway)
Hey there plz suggest one or a few IEMs which have considerable Sub Bass Rumble, but not boomy. Under 35$..
Ziigaat Nuo and KZ ZS10 Pro 2 got u covered.
2024 is the year of budget planars.
Oh, for real! 2025 will be the year of budget XMEMS.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Will be waiting for a year when there'll be budget TOTLs, hehe
How does the kinera celest phoenix call compare to these?detail retrievel also
Phoenix Call is brighter and the bass isn't as extended. It has similar detail retrieval but less overall resolution.

Both of them are soooo tasty.
Should I go with the S08 or the Artti T10?
Hmm, they're both so good. I'd probably go with the S08 now and wait for the T10 mkii that is in development.
Guess which earphones I am now listening to. 😎
Mine were the equivalent of USD$81.
That was a great buy!
Is it really "tuning"? Graph looks like they put driver and what came out - that's the product

That's why graphs are bad. You've already made up your mind even though I'm telling you it sounds great.
