Embalming Room Makeover pt 1

The embalming room is a sacred space. For many decedents it’s where they are cared for and prepared to be given back to their tribes and communities. My Uncle Marc instilled in me that this space is to be respected and cared for. I love organizing and cleaning the embalming room. It gives me peace and is an act of service and love that the deceased and their families can never repay which warms my heart. To me it is the ultimate gift to be blessed to care for this space.

Whenever business was slow (usually this time of year) embalmers would scrub down & reorganize the prep room. It doesn't take long before the space looks like a cyclone's been there whenever it gets crazy busy. Thanks for the memories.
