How to Polish Engine cover/Royal Enfield interceptor 650

I'm not a fan of polishing mops, unless you have lots of money and can change them often they scratch and do not give a mirror finish, Use cotton stockingette or if this is not available an old tee shirt cut up. Autosolve polish is good, or Maguires All Metal polish. Use one cotton rag to rub polish in, little circles, and a clean cotton to buff. Finish buffing with a clean microfibre cloth. I get very good results on my Royal Enfield and lots of attention from passers by who admire the finish.

Good ideas all. However, please note...
1. You used 10 times too much polish paste. It just removed extra metal. It's abbrasive.
2. Rubbing with foil was not needed.
