    They tend to develop thicker manes under cold conditions

      @captainnemo9773 2 года назад

      Then why do African lions grow thick manes when the conditions are not cold?

      @@captainnemo9773 the average temperature in Masai Mara is 13°C to 28°C in all the months. But in India and specially in Western part, temperature reach upto 42°C.

      Nah that's bs, in captivity they grow better manes. Nothing to do with cold. If that's what the case then logic suggests that it must take several generations. 😊

    A Barbary lion has a mane that goes down past it's shoulder blades and along the
    length of it's underbelly. Both the Asiatic and the African lion's manes stop before
    their shoulders. The Asiatic lion has less mane than the African lion, and a flap of
    skin the length of the underbelly, also the lioness. The Barbary has the most mane.

      Asiatic lion can grow more Mane than barbery and african lion in colder regions.

      Barbary also has the belly flap. Recent studies show the asiatic lion to be identical in dna to the barbary lion.

      If a lion's ears are visible then it's an Asiatic Lion...
      A healthy captive Asiatic Lion look more similar to Barbary Lions but smaller in size

      @@rishabhadarsh5227even the size is same ,asian lions are now small because mass scale hunting, generations of inbreeding (as all the lions in gir are descendants of a last surviving pribe),overcrowding of a lot of lions in a small habitat and scarcity of food.

    Asiatic lions don't associate with females much. They are more solitary.

    Similar with women. If the woman starts to roll around in front of you, making sounds, she is flirting with you and likes you
