I have been watching this channel a long time. Part of me is happy watching them being introduced to the outside world. A part of me is also a little sad.
A grocery store is the most diverse acre of food. And so often we are disgusted at perfectly good foods. For me it's tomatoes and I am trying to learn to like them. So far can only handle them on sandwiches and burgers.
I sometimes worry about this. When I was a kid, I was the city cousin in San Francisco, CA and my "country" cousins came to visit us from S.W. Louisiana. We were just kids, but they felt badly about where they lived, and that hurt my feelings because I absolutely loved going to Louisiana and having my Grandmother and family there. I didn't think anything of the malls or tourist attractions in my own town. They felt like they were seen as inferior when in actuality I was so jealous that they got to grow up together and get the love from our Grandmother. Mr. C. And Mr. G.S. live honorable and fulfilling and useful lives. I hope they know that their life has many advantages
I agree. Plus all we see is them in a mall or burger place. The inoculation with consumerism is maybe not the best idea when they will have to go back home and take up hard labour again.
@@annainspain5176 Please. Consumerism is all over the world and there are plenty of people who still do hard labor. They bust their ass at work so they can buy stuff. Not everyone cares about malls or eating fast foods. Plenty of hard-working American men and women who work the land and raise the food you eat. They build your houses and fix your electricity problems; they plumb pipes and fix them and take care of trash on street. You have nurses who walk miles a day and cops who have to remove dead bodies, funeral workers that work on your dead loved ones and oilfield workers who get your gas and oil. Just to name a few. I have left out thousands I know,
That is actually one of my favourite things to do when I travel abroad is to go to the grocery store. I know a lot of people would find that silly or a waste of time but I love wandering around and seeing what is the same and what is different. This whole experience must be slightly overwhelming to them. Thank you so much for taking us on this adventure with them!
I did the same thing in Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Slovakia..culture shock is fun..the most memorable one was a mini market in Kutna Hora Czech Republic- smaller quiet town dropped in randomly around 10:30 AM and treated it like a museum. The lady at the register was looking at us with a bit of suspicion as we looked at all the different products..she was very nice and helpful even if we didn't understand each other.
I would love to do this but I feel too shy/awkward to do it, So I only do it in places where I intend to buy something.. and even if I didn't intend to buy anything, I do it anyway!!!
I am with you on this one, I too marvel at that which others think is common place. International food courts are another attraction for me, the smells either individually or all together are devine..
You are wrong...they DO NOT need a T.V. show. There is nothing intriguing or interesting in what they are doing. It is a story as old as time itself. Try doing some research on the concept of "fish out of water". Hollywood makes movies about it all the time and it is already over done on T.V.

I have to say, I’m completely amazed to see the growth of these two wonderful men. I’m hearing many more Words in English, identifying foods from different cultures and other things! Wow! These humble men from small villages in Pakistan, are becoming worldly men right before our very eyes!
They have a wisdom and awareness of this planet we’re spinning on which many don’t. We’re all blank slates deep down, and the more we can enrich ourselves from this place we’re fortunate enough to live on, the better and truer selves we will be. ♥️
I'm hoping when they're finally able to get their paperwork done and sorted, that they'll get a lovely trip as well. Based on all of the things we've seen them do for the team, like the renovation of Mr. Chaudhary's kitchen and Rana's new motorbike, I'm sure that the channel will make sure that they get the same amazing experience as our brothers are getting here! And who knows? Maybe after that, we can see a trip where the four of them go to Istanbul or one of the other large cities that the Pakistani people usually go to when they go on holiday! Just love these gentlemen so much! The channel owners have done so much that's been life changing for them and in my opinion, for us as well! Talk about building bridges between cultures!!! 🙏🕊️
Mr. Chaudhry used perfect English to pronounce the colors of the bell peppers. All of these lovely peoples' eagerness to learn new things is so wholesome and heart-warming. Many blessings to Mr. Chaudhry and Mr. Gul Sher!
Often these guys say 'we are just simple villagers' - they are very astute individuals. I love them and listening to their opinions. Great video series. I feel like I've got the opportunity to know them more.
You just couldn't resist showing Mr Chaudhary his favourite shrimp. What a wonderful experience seeing these gentlemen walking around something that can be almost a chore to me in the UK , it's lovely seeing their surprise and amazement.
I spoke with an old lady once who went through both world wars and she told me about when supermarkets came about and she was astounded that she could get anything in there as she had been used to rashions from the war. It blew my mind how amazed she was yet we take it for granted. Just as I was born in the 70s with no mobile phone or computer, now the kids are born into it. I am surprised you did not have to drag Mr Chaudhary out of that sweets shop, kicking and screaming! 😆 I hope he at least got to taste some really fine chocolates. I am so glad that our brothers got to experience this. Thank you, TPT crew!

That mall is beautiful and the market was amazing. It was fun to watch them experience it. It was an experience for me too as I seldom have seen markets that nice.
I'm so happy to see Dubi as regular people see it. Everything about Dubi shows how the very rich live, fancy hotels, fancy cars, high end food but malls and food courts are places I could afford. I love this so much, please travel more if possible.
I love their discoveries and amazement at all the varieties of products and people in this vacation series. I wish everyone could've come. This one trip will change their perceptions in many ways. I hope when they return home they share with everyone what they saw and learned, and make at least one positive change in their communities. Most of these things aren't available to them much less the lifestyle. Everyone has access to this lifestyle in America so it's great to see them enjoying it too but also a little tough to see because it's not available to them at home. Pakistan will have these things sooner rather than later I hope. Everyone deserves it. We need strong local, honest leadership, entrepreneurs, creativity and community involvement. Investment in a dream. An if you build it they will come kind of thing.
Thanks guys. Thanks for showing us the simple things to have you amazed that we take for granted. With every video from you all you teach us to appreciate the life we have and take for granted. Stay blessed.
It was so great how they admired all things, Like the onions being in packets and the fact it's so much more clean there! They had a great variety to look at! I kinda wished they bought one of those fish to try cooking at home!
That's actually the only non-British location of the British supermarket chain Waitrose (or Waitrose & Partners as it's technically known now). The one these guys visited in Dubai looks near-identical to the ones here in the UK, but probably with a bit more stock on display (and with far less halal products/Arabic signage)! Waitrose is generally considered the most premium supermarket chain over here, being excellent quality but perceived to also be the most expensive (the price will depend on what you buy). Waitrose tends to have very good quality and tasty products, but also has very niche ingredients that other supermarkets don't tend to stock. It gets quite the reputation as a snobby brand due to these things (also there tend to be quite a few celebrities and celebrity chefs that shop exclusively in Waitrose. In my local one, there's a guy who used to work in Buckingham Palace as a kitchen porter, accepting Waitrose food order deliveries for the Queen and her household!
I loved this segment. I marvel at their wonder and awe of products so similar to most of our lives. I loved seeing them in the supermarket. I do hope you feed them, in the next installment, after tempting them with goodies. Great job done by everyone.
I Hope they visit these places, i think they will have so much fun: 1. The dubai mall aquarium. 2. The green planet(in dubai city walk) 3.dubai miracle garden 4.global village
What a joy not enough praise and thanks for bringing this journey to us …deepest smile as we journey with y’all .. blessings from south Texas as you continue on
There's a _Charlie's_ there?? So many food chains are international and I had NO idea. I only just discovered them a few years ago in our own mall! 🤣 Also, dang, Dubai knows how to mall - most of ours aren't even close to being that cool.
Bro, they have everything in that mall. That food court has every international chain I can think of and you could eat at a different smaller, local chain every day for a month and not repeat.
Dubai has so much international stuff it's insane. That shop/supermarket they were in at the end? It's a Waitrose, one of the most premium supermarket chains in the UK. I think Dubai is one of, if not the only, place in the world outside of the UK to have Waitrose branches (I think it was picked up over there due to the prestige in name brand/quality regardless of the higher prices?)
I’m working in Dubai , and Dubai mall is the place I visit frequently, the only bad thing of this mall is : next time when you visit another mall , even The mall of Emirate , you will feel everything is so normal and the space is so small .
Guys, I love your show and I watcu almost everything you upload. I am from Bulgaria, but since I mobed to the Netherlands I find it hard to stop expressing how amazed I am with hiw smart, modern and beautiful Netherlands country is. Why do not you bring those two nice mens to the Netherlands? :) Thank you for reading and your time.
Love this! To watch them as they walk taking in all the sights and sounds of the Dubai mall, for them to see an abundance of food stuff from all over..... Here for us in the USA its commonplace. They are going to talk about this trip and remember it for years. So kind and humble Raffique and Gul Sher are....💙 Love the fact that I'm pretty sure Gul Sher is about my height... 5ft. 6in....😊😊
in the US, the tiny cabbages are called Brussel sprouts, the white carrots, are parsnips (may be japanese daikon raddish) the petha, we call butternut squash. Poor Chadhaury, even in the markets he can't get away from shrimps. I LOVE these videos. It's a fresh difference than just TPT in the studio. Really hope Rana and Tahir get to experience Dubai.
Following the series of videos from these village elders I really got to love their honesty and above all integrity, my father drilled this into us …I know at 71 I’m probably older than them and while I’ve travelled the world their innocence is inspiring 👍👏👏👏
Gosh I love you guys so so much. Such pure of heart and soul people. Hope you are enjoying your trip to places you could only have dreamed of before. I'm so excited for you all. Much love from Shaun in Australia.
I like how they glance at the clothes and electronics, but focus on the food and sweets. This is a lovely video account of very reality oriented perspective of living that we “developed world” folks can all perhaps use as an an aspirational model. They are not perfect people of course, as nobody is, but they are real and admirable.
Cherry tomatoes on the vine; the pair of onions packed together looks like shallots. The orange fish fillets is most likely farm-raised Atlantic salmon; glittering whole fish looks like salmon (King salmon would be bigger). Ground beef has different fat %: the more fat the more flavor for burgers like 80/20, 85/15; 93/7 would be leaner with just 7% fat and ideal for cooking in spaghetti.
Those baby cabbages are called brussel sprouts. It took me awhile to like brussel sprouts... I imagine that they'll never dream the same again after visiting Dubai
They marvel at material things brought by the market, but we marvel at their culture, simplicity and wholeness.
Amen.

That mall is beautiful and the market was amazing. It was fun to watch them experience it. It was an experience for me too as I seldom have seen markets that nice.
So much nicer than a lot of American malls
I love these so much. So great to see we're all lost together in this enormous world!
At times their reactions remind me of someone in time travel. Every nuance is to be marveled.
It was so great how they admired all things, Like the onions being in packets and the fact it's so much more clean there!
They had a great variety to look at! I kinda wished they bought one of those fish to try cooking at home!
I can't get over how clean and well-presented everything was in the market? Everything looked great
This was 👍 GREAT. Love seeing their reaction to all the different items available. A real eye opener for them. Thanks from California.
Amazing 😊 they having an enjoyable time, we can be the same when visiting other countries seeing the different foods 😀 bless them
cant wait for their aquarium experience and the dubai fountain....
That was a very nice produce market. Nicer than the produce section of my local supermarket, even... which itself is considered "upscale."
@@lordolxinator Harrods got next level grocery store
I loved this segment. I marvel at their wonder and awe of products so similar to most of our lives. I loved seeing them in the supermarket. I do hope you feed them, in the next installment, after tempting them with goodies. Great job done by everyone.
Their expression is not only amazing but heartfelt.
I Hope they visit these places, i think they will have so much fun:
1. The dubai mall aquarium.
2. The green planet(in dubai city walk)
3.dubai miracle garden
4.global village
I just love them more and more with each new thing.
I want to see their reaction to the giant aquarium. : )
this content is *!@#*!@#* great i admire these two uncles greatly
What a joy not enough praise and thanks for bringing this journey to us …deepest smile as we journey with y’all .. blessings from south Texas as you continue on
There's a _Charlie's_ there?? So many food chains are international and I had NO idea. I only just discovered them a few years ago in our own mall! 🤣 Also, dang, Dubai knows how to mall - most of ours aren't even close to being that cool.
They have all of your oil money to spend over there!...lol
Bro, they have everything in that mall. That food court has every international chain I can think of and you could eat at a different smaller, local chain every day for a month and not repeat.
Dubai has so much international stuff it's insane. That shop/supermarket they were in at the end? It's a Waitrose, one of the most premium supermarket chains in the UK. I think Dubai is one of, if not the only, place in the world outside of the UK to have Waitrose branches (I think it was picked up over there due to the prestige in name brand/quality regardless of the higher prices?)
Loved seeing the Cinnabon 😂Chaudry would have loved that.
I'm curious how they would react to the Dutch biking infrastructure and culture now. I'm pretty amazed by the Netherlands as an American myself.
You can bring me to the Netherlands? I live in Kansas and it’s quite dull
Love this! To watch them as they walk taking in all the sights and sounds of the Dubai mall, for them to see an abundance of food stuff from all over..... Here for us in the USA its commonplace.
They are going to talk about this trip and remember it for years.
So kind and humble Raffique and Gul Sher are....💙
Love the fact that I'm pretty sure Gul Sher is about my height... 5ft. 6in....😊😊
in the US, the tiny cabbages are called Brussel sprouts, the white carrots, are parsnips (may be japanese daikon raddish) the petha, we call butternut squash.
Poor Chadhaury, even in the markets he can't get away from shrimps.
I LOVE these videos. It's a fresh difference than just TPT in the studio.
Really hope Rana and Tahir get to experience Dubai.
For us it is a normal day at the market. Appreciate what we have. These 2 guys have their eyes wide open. Nice trip for them
Love watching through their eyes makes me feel grateful for what I have. Lovely guys. 🙂
Following the series of videos from these village elders I really got to love their honesty and above all integrity, my father drilled this into us …I know at 71 I’m probably older than them and while I’ve travelled the world their innocence is inspiring 👍👏👏👏
the little cabbages are brussel sprouts and those large turnips are swedes, the petha are butternut squash
I think this a wonderful experience for them, to see how everyone mostly lives in Western culture. The World is a big place.
This channel cheers me right up. Instant like every time. Good health to all 🙏
Those baby cabbages are called brussel sprouts. It took me awhile to like brussel sprouts...
I imagine that they'll never dream the same again after visiting Dubai
¡What a wonderful blast of experiences, enjoying life 100%!
👏😄👍
Another awesome video guys, but please!.... no spoilers at the beginning!! 🙈
Gul Sher Khan’s mustache is so epic
