Cedar Point Opening Day 2023

Cedar Point totally overhauled the Lakeside Midway for 2023 and renamed it The Boardwalk. It includes a brand new Wild Mouse roller coaster and a beautiful and spacious Grand Pavilion, featuring dining and drinks and wonderful views of the park and beach area. Scrambler (renamed Atomic Scrambler) and Matterhorn were both relocated to this area to join Calypso (formerly Tiki Twirl) and Troika, all with new signage and bright colors. Chick-fil-A is now Frontier Inn (again), and Mac Shack and Johnny Rockets are both no more. Work continues on Top Thrill Dragster, being reimagined for an eventual opening in 2024. It was great to see so many enthusiast friends again, and I look forward to another summer fun of fun!! :D Filmed Saturday, May 6, 2023.
