I love the bits in the second half, it feels like motions of tryingv and trying to forget someone as hard as you can but everytime you end up getting reminded you get shot back into reality, get shot back to the moment where love dies, get shot back into a feeling of worthlessness. That line tho with the friend who’s got “the bright idea” also brings a smile to my face everytime I hear or think ab it.
With 808s and Heartbreak, I tend to like the content around it, rather than the project itself. Like the Coldest Winter, I don't care for the song. But I love the music video remix.
I feel like the entirety of this album hits a lot harder if you've been through...well heartbreak. Of course the hits that came from this were always great like Heartless and Amazing etc. But shit like coldest winter and bad news was so meh to me. Now I adore all the songs on this album except robo cop and pinocchio story. Also that Lil Wayne song lmao
