My fish tank disappeared!

Fish like to hide in the shade. Overgrown vegetation is perfect for this purpose. Furthermore, algae can grow very fast and give a green color to the water. Plants covering the water will limit algae growth and ensure a crystal clear water.
BUT!!! my aquaponics ecosystem is sooo performant that plants are covering the whole fish tank. This is insane!
I have to manage and regularly harvest the plants (harvest edible plants and trim ornamental plants) to keep the pond apparent.
Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I love this ecosystem! But it's producing soo much that I don't know what to do with all this crop :)
