This is so epic. 10/10 for being creative, talented, and original. This piece sounds like an actual cinematic soundtrack
Thanks so much Angel. It was composed for a Malaysian feature film. :-)
@@LogicProTemplates r u malaysian by any chance ?
@@user-sw2lf I'm British... but I lived and worked in Malaysia for 6 years. I worked at WASP Studios (now known as Maveriq Studios).
15k play for this masterpiece makes my soul cry
Thanks Phillipp. I've had more plays of the music on these videos: ruclips.net/video/eaJDLZZV5GQ/видео.html

oh my gosh this project is crazy man I can imagine me mixing al this files definitely I go crazy well done
Thanks for checking it out. :-)
Holy god that’s a lot of tracks to keep track of. I wish I had that much time and patience.
Tehe... thanks Steve. It took me a while to compose and produce! :-)
I just got a bunch of sample libraries from spitfire audio and now I'm trying to learn to do what you did here and Man its so much harder than I thought it would be. Kind of wish I didn't spend the money on the samples. Studying hard but feels like theres not enough time. At least I know theory good from teaching Private guitar lessons for years. @@LogicProTemplates
@@steveedelen3251 at least you have the samples when you need them, so they really are not a waste. I bought about 15 Kontakt libraries during the holiday specials and have tapped into 3% of them so far, but I now have an arsenal of samples/libraries when needed. I too am learning myself, so I can relate to this as well.
Thanks for the Positive outlook.
One step at a time Steve. It does take a lot of time and perseverance. It's very rewarding in the end.
This better be used in a movie or video game. Too much effort and talent to just be admired on youtube
Thanks so much TheLostChampion. It's been used in a few feature films. :-)
Hairybigger Thats dope! Good for you man
Hairybigger Curious, what films?
@@IRegretnothing74 It was originally scored for the Malaysian feature film 'Misteri Jalan Lama' (dir. Afdlin Shauki) and then licensed for use in 'Drakkar: A Viking Saga' (dir. Chris Crow) and 'An American In Hollywood' (dir. Sai Varadan).
Hairybigger oh thats great
All logic knowledge cramped into one amazing place.
Thanks Daniel... glad you like it! :-)
Very good cinematic music and just an epic song in general, it really builds a story from start to finish. Great song.
Thanks Droski
This looks absolutely mad to me 😮 I can’t believe how much is going on!!! My little house template with under 20 tracks laid out feels weak as hell after seeing this
Tehe - It's not about how music production looks... it's how it sounds! :-)
you are world best. crazy work... wow...
Thanks so much 소리창고녹음실 :-)
Fantastic work Jon! Kudos
Thanks so much Neil. :-)
Super ridiculously awesome! Bravo mate.
Thanks so much! :-)
That deserves a round of 👏
Thanks so much! :-)
this is utterly utterly inspiring. thanks Jon, I'm now off to bury my head in logic and try and create something... bust first i gotta get my hands on those Drums Of War, they sound incredible.
Thanks for your kind words Steve! :-)
you sir are a legend for sharing this. this is next level amazing
Thanks so much Chris
Amazing 😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Sharukh :-)
Wow..... sooo powerful 🔥🔥
Thanks so much! :-)
Oh, my, God…incredible
Thanks so much Shon. :-)
Wow! I'm getting chills! Sounds incredible!!! How do you manage your cpu power with all those midi tracks running by the way?
Thanks so much Godybanksmusic. My system at the time was pretty much maxed out; it only just handled it. :-)
Really awesome i am.your fan😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍wow
Thanks so much!
@@LogicProTemplates bro super👌👌👌.....This project file is in it??
@@sphinx3563 Yes it is. Sorry for the late reply... I've only just seen this. :-)

BEAUTIFUL
Thank you Fabio! :-)
Awesome, simply awesome.
Thanks so much! :-)
Amazing work !
Thanks Deyomusic
This is absolutely insane😮
I'll take that as a compliment... thank you! :-)
ok.. I without question NEED this software in my life!!
It's an amazing DAW. :-)
Yes you should. There are so many hidden features in it. Once you find them you'll completely don't need others DAW even for notation software for sure. I'm about 2 month now using this one, moving from Pro Tools to this.
@@billrichardson7409 Hope you're enjoying it! :-)
Love it. Great work
Thank you Eyes of Truth. Much appreciated. :-)
this is amazing. sub earned
Thanks so much Steadytube! :-)
Great job! 👏
Thanks Nico
truly amazing production. Do you put additional processing on the master chain or do you keep it like this without worrying about dynamics or whatever else when producing a cinematic film score song ?
Thanks so much MLSTRM. Yes, i add additional processing on the master chain; usually after the music is composed and mixed. Occasionally I'll work with temporary mastering on the main output but then adjust and tweak settings at the end.
the tempo changes throughout
@@kezbondatrack It certainly does change! This is to make sure i had sync. points with the movie. :-)
@@LogicProTemplates just listened to this again man this is crazy professional. This is amazing bro!
@@kezbondatrack Thanks so much for coming back for another listen and for your kind words. So glad you like it. :-)
amazing work!!!
Thanks so much David. :-)
My god ....
Whats ur computer configuration brother
This was composed and produced on an old G5 Apple Mac with around 8GB RAM. My new setup is more of a monster now. ;-)
Wow, really inspiring. So talented,
Thanks so much John! :-)
@@LogicProTemplates you are welcome, do you teach in Udemy?
@@JohnSmith-pd6su I don't... but I might consider it in the future. :-)
Awsome work
Thanks so much!
A couple Qs:
1.How
2.How do I become that good? Do I have to go to like music school
3.which plugins you use
Hi Apocalyptical, thanks for your enquiry. Your first question is missing.
No.2: Music school would help with theory and practical musicianship, however, I pretty much taught myself everything I know about music composition and production over the last 20 years or so.
No.3: The plugins used in this track are listed here: sellfy.com/p/7DJM/
Best wishes,
Jon
I’m definitely going to download the template thanks
Excellent, thanks Joker. :-)
You are extremely talented,I can picture,a army of 5thou Bots😲
Thank you so much Anita. :-)
Too good man appreciate you 🙌. How many tracks are there total??
Thanks Rudra... 90 tracks in total. :-)
Omg lions,tigers,bears😁👍🌟
Haha.. epic! Thanks for your comment. :-)
EPIC JUST EPIC
Thanks so much!
It sounds really good!!
I like to know which are your mac? and wich are their caracteristics?
Thank you! Here's a bit more information about my Mac and studio: www.jonbrooks.co.uk/Studio.html
I haven't updated my website for a long time, but it's pretty much the same! ;-)
Do you ever do sheetmusic editorial work inside Logic Pro X, or is it just way too much hustle to do in one program, like do you end up using music embellishment software alike finale/sibelius, etc?
Occasionally I use Logic Pro X to produce the notation but I mainly just program MIDI as a performance these days. I used to use Sibelius (but not used it for around 10 years)!
Epic
Thanks so much! :-)
Brother....♥️♥️....what an inspiring work...what are the plugins that you used to program it..... eventhough you had used lots of tracks, not even in single place I heard irritating noise.... You mixed and mastered perfectly......I loved the automation ♥️.....keep doing .....we are hear to support you.....
Thanks for your kind words VRR. A list of the plugins is available here: sellfy.com/jonbrookscomposer/p/7djm/
Thanks again for your kind words and support. :-)
@@LogicProTemplates thanks a lot♥️
@@vrrstudios1291 Most welcome.
Insane!!!
Thanks! :-)
I just purchased this... how do you actually get this whole file package I just downloaded, to 'sound' like what this video is? A simple 2 minute video on basic loading, installing, etc for your DAW would be incredibly useful, and likely, lead to more purchases of your templates.
Hi Ryan, thank you for your enquiry. I responded to your email. Best wishes, Jon.
Logic Pro X Templates : Hello , I also just purchased the template, but I couldn’t open the Exs24 files that you sent!! Please help!!
im from india damn what a complex orchestrations did you midi write or play a midi board how genius bro u do it
Thank you for your kind words. I programmed most of the MIDI via a keyboard... some of the programming I input within the piano roll too. :-)
Real time or step time? Or both?))
@@fedorvoronovcomposer Both! :-)
Which percussion library was used most? I’m looking into buying a percussion library
Drums of War and Project Sam True Strike. :-)
Logic Pro X Templates which would you recommend most? I can’t buy both
My man, can you give an amateur like myself an advice on how you approach sheet music creation, do you ever use the embedded Logic Pro X notation view, cheers?
Occasionally I use the embedded Logic Pro X notation view. I use to use Sibelius for bigger scores though. I find that quantising and editing the midi data before producing the score speeds up the notation process. (Make sure you save a copy of the project as a performance too though). :-)
Tuyệt vời❤❤❤❤
Cảm ơn :-)
I have never seen a tempo of 513 BPM 😂
You were saying? XD ruclips.net/video/0SZ_68PGowQ/видео.htmlm14s
Tehe :-)
It’s not 513 bpm it’s 120 bpm. The 513 means there are 513 bars in the project
@@MiloMcCarthyMusic Ye now I see. I was new to Logic when I made this post.
10/10
Thanks so much ABYS. :-)
Dang , the computer is so strong , I work on my mac air in logic ,yet still it shows system overloaded when using like 30 or so tracks. His cpu meter does not even goes up
Cool man !
Thanks Neetish... this was produced on my old Mac G5. It was pretty powerful even back then! :-)
Would this sound much different with Logic stock strings horns etc?
It would sound a bit different, but if mixed well it'd be very close. Thanks for your enquiry. :-)
Really amazing! But where can i find the esemble-files (e.g. 01 WAR ESEMBLE)?
Your music and sound are so good.
There are many kinds of Vienna musical instruments.
Which instrument is it?
Thanks so much 9roove. Mainly the VSL Standard Edition + and Extended Edition +. I have a template for this Logic Pro X project available to download here if you'd like it: sellfy.com/p/7DJM/
How much RAM did you use in your computer to play this? :)
This was written quite some time ago. If i recall correctly I had 8GB RAM back then. I have 32GB RAM now. ;-)
How did you use so many instruments and your cpu Is still Cooperating ?
I had plenty of RAM too. :-)
..... dang...
Thanks! :-)
How long did this take from start to finish?
This one took around a month, but i was working on other commissions at the same time. It probably took around 7 to 10 days in total.
Could be a game of thrones sound track or avengers
Thanks Henry... nice compliment!
Can i ask which sampler did you use? Great piece!
Thank you... mostly EXS24 sampler and a few Kontakt tracks. This is quite an old production now! Written around ten years ago. ;-)
Logic Pro X Templates awesome. Well 10 years is a long time. Then I take it you are already involved in major Hollywood productions😁 I subscribed to you. You do amazing things. If you want to look over my stuff and say what you think but no problem if not. Have a nice week Max Friend.
Im using Logic also
Great to hear! :-) Fantastic software.
how many MB did you use?
I have no idea... it was a while ago! ;-)
😍🤩
Thank you! ;-)
dude how did ur cpu handle this
Even though it was produced years ago - I had a fair bit of RAM and a good processor. :-)
Sounds like rise of iron from destiny
That's a nice compliment, thank you! :-)
Ram R.I.P hehe
Hahaa... exactly! My computer at the time only just coped with it!
link dont work
It still works for me. Have you tried clicking the link in the video description? Are you trying to download the music mp3 or Logic Pro X template? Thanks, Jon.
