Thanks! I tired to get a burst of videos out as soon as I got the bike. More videos soon but I really need it to warm up around here for my sake and to get some more range out of the battery
Good info, so did you get the update that's supposed to give us more range? lol I love that the charger drops down to lower amps when it gets full that's a nice touch
Nah no update that gives more power but I can't test it anyway because it's too cold. I believe there is one guy on the fb group who's going to reprogram the bms to change the power.
@maximumchargeEV interesting, the BMS shouldn't really have anything to do with that unless you're trying to pull more amps I guess which will make it get less range. I'm just curious if that was a real thing who told me that lol
@@Razorcrew_ColeBMS helps your battery from burning not sure but,, you can Google what is the BMS for on a ebike battery google anything you need or want
@Brue58 lol bro I've been teaching people what a BMS is for years.. The battery monitoring system is The brains of the battery, battery is like a water balloon it doesn't know if it's full or empty the BMS does along with keeping track of a lot of other things. I have been talking directly with Altis about it for a few weeks getting the exact details for a video so you can watch that if you actually want to learn 👍 I actually have videos of me installing BMS to batteries and then sending the perimeters in the settings before there was all of these bikes and battery companies out 🤜🤛
@Brue58 here's part of what they say: Altis Powersports is offering a physical battery update to help optimize your ride during the colder months! What’s Changing? • The battery’s operating range can be adjusted from 25°C-60°C to a broader range of 10°C-60°C. • Every 5°C lower in temperature results in a 20% performance reduction, which could affect power output. Why This Matters: With winter temperatures upon us, Altis understands that the current smart settings on the battery may feel higher than ideal for many riders. This update is an option for those seeking more flexibility in colder conditions, while balancing performance. Altis’ Recommendation: With 20 years of expertise, Altis suggests sticking with the current settings, as they are preferred for ensuring long battery life and optimal performance. However, the update is available for those who wish to adjust.
Thanks for the video. I am still deciding whether to get the Altis Sigma or ERIDE SR. I wish the Sigma app had a lot more adjustably like the ERIDE SR like more torque adjustments and even the strength of the regen braking etc…The SR has so much available in the app. ANY WORRIES when downloading the app and firmware that it will lock the bikes speed to 20mph ?
are we going to see an actual max speed on this channel nobody really has one? please let us all know thank you also I heard this bike can beat stark bike in a 500 yard mark now apparently lol
@@maximumchargeEV yeah the guy that got his shut off and then he couldn't start it I'm glad I seen that video cuz I didn't know about the power button under the seat

@@rambojohn7118 I have been riding the Altis MX it's a fun bike to ride I wish it was lighter though definitely feel the weight.
What gear ratio if you're running 19 16
Unsure about the 16. I would just test all of them and see which is closes to a simple gps phone app

The bike is super fast.
Not the stark is the fastest google it, you can Google seat height if you want
Google anything you want or need
@@Brue58I think this bike is sprint killer but not long distance.
Nice
But you don't need to go and change it back, if you don't use the app,, settings will stay right or wrong.thanks
Yeah right now the update and app don't do anything I think. I could be wrong but thats just my experience
