Nice cover, man! Always thought it was played with the neck pickup, sounds awesome with the bridge though!

Hey. Thanks. Happy you liked it. Yes most definitely the song was always played with the neck pickup but whatever i tried the closest i was getting was by using mid position (not pure bridge). Well ac10 with a greenback is still quite far from ac30/alnico blue(s)

Nice cover! It is clean sound or you use some effects?

According to my notes i was using SD-1 drive @7, i.e. at minimum (i often use it for lo-fi effect) and boss compressor (tone @3, sust @1)

I love your channel! Let me know, how do you separate the tracks?

    • @ScatterTune

Thank you! Radiohead guitars are usually split per channels (post The Bends) so in most cases i simply remove left or right channel depending which guitar track i wish to mute. This is not the case for acoustic or piano though, but in this case lowering the overall backing track gain by 15dB or something would be usually sufficient...

@@ScatterTune Wich software are you using?
I want to make my own backing tracks. I use "Moises AI", for RHCP songs it works (because it's only one guitarist) but for RH it doesn't. Moisés removes what he identifies as a guitar and well, that's a big problem.

@ZaidVegaL I use very simple recording app called Audacity. I do not use AI to remove instruments as, as you say, it may impact sound in quite unexpected way. For RH Jonny's or Ed's guitar would be always split per different channel, so very easy to remove. It is Thom's guitars that would usually be recorded per both. So yeah, it depends.
