Any idea on why some Plague Hearts show on map even though I never scouted them? I used to be pretty good at this game, but haven't played in months so have gotten a little rusty on my gameplay and game knowledge.
When you first load into the game, before you claim your first base, you're loaded into a temporary placeholder homesite. That homeside on Trumbull is located by the topmost map exit. So they appear because they were in scouting range of that homesite.
Ah, interesting. I did not know that!
I do kinda understand why people say that chemsit or cook is a must have as cook makes stronger stamina boosters and chemist better medicine i think, or now that i think abaout ti, it woudl be medic making better medicine, chemist et's you make more incendiaries like molotovs, pipe boms, or fuel bombs, napalm if the chemistry is red talon variant (munitions)
But yeah as Jay Talbot says "The must have on lethal and nightmare is energy drinks and coffee as keeping yoru stamina full is more important in this game than hp, as you can evade to keep yoru hp but your cant evade to not use stamina"
As he also said "I love how drinking energy drinks keeps your lungs functioning in this game"
And cook i think makes nutritious rations that both heal you and keep your stamina from depleting.
Alternatively if oyu dont have a cook, Jay would recommend getting coffee shops as outposts or those small one man building you found coffee in as they generate 1/2 coffees a day
Cook and Chemist are both required for crafting Energy Drinks, that's the main reason people want both.
It's a strong combo, especially if you use heavy melee to attack plague hearts vs using mostly guns / explosives.
In my experience, Trumbull map has an old time glitch with the initially visible PH, specially in the north. As for the vehicle, you just got it while scanning the cell tower. Cheers Frank!
Interesting! I rarely play on Trumbull Valley, I love the SoD lore within the map of it but I usually play on the other maps.
Happy to see you're back to SoD2! This is still my favourite game.
I really like the new flashlight. I like playing on the darkest night setting with my flashlight out, where you can't see anything but what you're lighting up. It's super immersive.
As for the new curveballs, Bangernomics is miserable (I love it) and Smoke Storm is probably the deadliest curveball to date!
As for the random framedrops, I've been experiencing a big increase in framerate drops and frame stuttering after the last update. Not sure what changed.
Yeah, I've been getting random fps drops but I think my biggest issue honestly and just my mouse in-game dpi keeps randomly changing. Like sometimes it will be fast like I want it but then suddenly be slow.
Brother HELL YES
Episode 2 should be uploaded tomorrow
It gets crazy!!!
