Excellent review! How did the gimbal function when lens was all the way out? Did it Struggle at all? I’d love to see some stabilized long lens footage compared with internal stabilization. Good work! Keep it up!
Heyyyyyy first comment! The gimbal held up perfect with the long end of the zoom. I’m severely impressed with it actually. There is a ton of space for balancing and everything was rock solid. The beefy motors are definitely working some magic.
Great video!!! I see you're using the Sony a7iii. Does your camera functions operate: ISO, shutter speed, aperture? Also, what about taking photos. Been having big issues and see you didn't show that.
Thanks for watching the video! So I have been testing it out more since filming, but I think I may be using the wrong cables for it. Officially I can control zoom (clear image zoom), start and stop recording, take pictures, and half press button for obtaining focus. I noticed that I did not need my camera in pc remote mode for USB. I just put USB mode on my a7iii to auto and it worked fine for me. I had to select the Sony camera mode on the gimbal menu system.
The transmitter sucks big time! You may make it work for a few seconds but then it freezes and the camera screen goes black. Anyone else having issues or success?
Not trying to offend but did you slow down the edit for this video so that everything you said was clear and concise? I had to watch this video at 1.25 speed and it seemed normal. It definitely feels slower otherwise
Haha no offense taken. Yeah I didn’t realize how slow I was speaking until after I pulled the footage into my editor. So no it’s not just you, it’s kinda slow.
@@Infosmercial Haha I'm sorry I really didn't know but I have to say you did a very good job on this video. Definitely the best video talking through all the features of the Weebill S. I remember watching your video last year on the Weebill lab and it was because of you that I purchased it so you are definitely a good influencer. Keep up the good work!!
Hey man thank you so much for the kind words. lol yeah I had the same reaction as you when I watched it myself. “Holy crap I’m talking slowwww”. Well hey cheers and thanks again for checking out these videos.
One more question: Can i use the same follow focus from the LAB as for the Weebill s? i Only can find the weebill s, but no wireless or follow focus set.. YOu have any information for this?
Yeah so I have adjusted the control stick speed rates as I find them wayyyyy too fast for how I shoot. After testing and filming a bunch, I’m going to spend a few hours tweaking the settings even further to smooth some things out based on how I generally film. It works really well though and I’m thrilled this is a part of the gimbal now and not buried in the app.
Infosmercial Thanks - literally just got mine this afternoon!! Loved my Weebill but use the same set up (Sony + 28-75) and figured it was worth the upgrade!
Most of the video was shot on my ZCam E2 and using the Meike 16mm and 25mm T2.2 cine lenses. Only a few shots made it in from my A7iii and tamron 28-75.
What gimbal are you guys using? What do you think about this Weebill S? Let me know...
I have using ronin Sc .but because of image transmision , strenght of motors and setup variety options ,I am sold out .
Yes it’s a pretty compelling little gimbal. I really love the thing. One of the best on the market.
I'm thinking of selling my ronin sc for this. I use your same Sony / Tamron setup
Seriously, it’s great. Works and balances with ease. Footage is looking real good and it’s still really dang tiny. Thanks for checking the vid btw!
Very good video dude. Enyoing your content :)
Cheers. Thanks for watching!
... thx for sharing the informations! 👍🏻 I got mine a few days ago - works perfect with my a6600 and my a7R IV.
Glad you like it. Yeah these Sony cams are a great match with the weebill.

Nice lighting!
Cheers! Thanks for checking out. 🍻

How many of these gimbals did zhiyun send?
One more question: Can i use the same follow focus from the LAB as for the Weebill s? i Only can find the weebill s, but no wireless or follow focus set.. YOu have any information for this?
So the focus set should be available soon, but yes you can use the same motor from weebill lab for the new weebill s.
I use a canon 5d mk iii, and orderd this. So I cant even use it?????
Can I use it on canon 90d with 18-135lens
Thanks for sharing, since you mentioned wireless transition is via HDMI, do you think it will work with SONY A7RII?
Absolutely it works with the a7rii.
Does app fully support focus peaking , zebra, luts as advertised on zhiyun website? Thanks in advance 👍
UMANG sorry for the delay. I am testing more of that stuff this weekend. I’ll let you know in a bit.
Infosmercial thanks for sharing. I will wait 👍
Have you adjusted any of the internal settings (deadband, speed, etc?)

No fujifilm on the list hehe
