Loved this Disney cruise vlog. Everything looked so magical. Seeing characters must be so exciting to see outside the parks. There looks like there is an incredible amount of activities and shows and music and trivia to keep you busy the entire time. Mickey in his captain outfit looked adorable.
FINALLY watching your vlog, I'm so far behind. It makes me so happy to see others finally experience the amazingness that is Disney Cruise Line 🥹 A few things I loved. 1. You guys trying to figure out how to open the cruise door 😆 2. Confirming it's like a plane toilet. 3. You mentioned did they turn the side lamps to Australia, I always do that. Your Mum is amazing by the way.
You warned me I’d be hooked and here I am 😂 my mum is so funny, we’re going to have to get her in a ship asap! The plane toilet really threw me. I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t that!!
I went on the Disney cruise in September 2005. One of the great things on the cruise was that I was next door to my cousin on the cruise. I discovered this when I went out on the mini balcony that we had in our room. I did go to a club on the cruise I went to the Ocean club with my cousin since we were too young at the time for the nightclubs. The was club Pirate themed when I went and it was so small in space because the decorations too a look of room. There was a pirate barrel slide and there was a net bridge kids would walk on. However I did not do this because I was afraid so I did a mini slide instead of the big slide.Also asked a boy to take a toy down the slide with him. I also had good talk with a girl in the club one time while I was on the cruise.There was also a small stage back then for kids to sing songs in the club. Also the bathrooms in the club were smaller and the lights were dimmer especially at night and they had life saver floats as a decoration back then and one room was pink for the girls and the other was blue for boys. There was also the Captain Closet room where one night I was on the computers and I told my parents don't interrupt my fun. I also did dress up in this room too and they also had dress up in this room so girls could dress as disney princess if they wanted. I also had good talk with a girl in the club one time while I was on the cruise. I went to the Ocean Lab once one the cruise. one time my cousin accidentally went to the boys room but lucky for me I found the girls one. One time I freaked out when a girl brought her brother into the bathroom and when my cousin when into the boys bathroom because Back then when I was younger I did not really understand that you do not have to be a certain gender to like certain things.Also the Lab was space theme when I went. The boys room in lab back in the day has blue and green for its wall color and the girls room was pink in color i do not remember too much about the ocean lab. I also walked around the deck with my parents one night on the cruise. . I also ate dinner at Animators pallet with my parents on the cruise one night i got a brownie and vanilla ice cream to share with my parents and my mother ate the brownie because back then I could not eat gluten while my dad and me ate the vanilla ice cream since my dad could not eat chocolate. One night on the cruise from the kids menu at Animator Pallet. I would eat ice cream the from the kids menu back in the day.
A penguin makes so much sense 😂 we were VERY bad at guessing what they were meant to be. You’re going to have the best time, such a fabulous way to start your year ✨
Ahh take me back to the ship! Gosh we just had the best holiday ever. Kids are begging me to book another 😆 What a fun first day. How good was the guy on the piano 🙌
It’s really the perfect way to get a dose of Disney so close to home! Wil was such a highlight of the trip. We started our first night with him so we had to go back and spend the last night listening to him play too. He’s incredible
I get pretty bad motion sickness and I was alright most of the trip! It was the worst when we were going fast and I was looking out a window on a deck below me. So from up on deck 4 looking out a window on deck 3 if that makes sense. I did take preventative motion sickness tablets for the first two days but I didn’t need them by the end of the trip. If you do need them and you don’t have any the medical centre has some available outside the door 24/7!
You can use it while you’re close enough to shore to get reception but then once we got further out into the ocean the service kinda dropped out. And then I ended up getting a text from Vodafone about Maritime Roaming and the fees. I think it has something to do with international waters but I don’t quite understand the logistics. I had my phone in airplane mode and then used the basic free wifi on the ship to send texts but then we ended up paying for wifi anyway 😅

How we loved this vlog! It takes us back to our Disney Cruise several years ago. Wish we could go again really soon

Can you use your cellular data for internet onboard considering it's a domestic cruise?
