Fun Fact about the snail eggs part: I had snails just like that, they were called Mystery Snails. They laid eggs and I had to move the baby snails into a new fish tank when they hatched. The thing is that even though I got like 20 snails into the tank, some fell into the water of the original tank. In the new tank, I fed the baby snails food from the pet store. The snails that were in the original tank ate what was around the tank from the other fish inside it. The snails in the original tank grew to be about half the size of the snails in that video at the same time that the snails in the new tank (without fish) were probably a tenth of the size despite being born at the exact same time from the same eggs. Moral of the story, you gotta eat well or you won’t grow.

jumping into a sink sounds like a quick way to ruin the rest of my day.
luckily in this case its a taco bell sink. two pressurized sprayers to rinse rthe walls and pans that got hit above as well as an open drain below and usually one a few feet away as backup in case the first overfills. also water on the floor can just be swept into the drains. ..i estimate that as a 2-4 minute clean assuming thats all clean soap water not used.
