Hi Lana (hope i spell your name right, if not please correct me). Your garden is very beautiful with all these blooms at once. I have most of my vanda on a link chain like yours, but with all that rain, all the roots are entangle in one another.. I debating if should i leave them alone or cut those roots and spray them after.. What do you think?
Hi Sandra, thank you so much, and yes, you spelled my name right!🤗🥰 I would prefer to keep my vandas' roots apart so I can move them if I need to. It is ok to trim some roots, they should be fine. Make sure to disinfect your pruners and I spray the root tips with hydrogen peroxide.💖
Thank you Marisa! I use exapanded clay pebbles mixed with charcoal and coconut husk. Except for the three biggest ones that outgrew their small pots, they are now growing in larger pots with lavarock and charcoal mix.💖
Hello Juanita! There are different reasons for an orchid to be stressed. First see if you can figure out the reason, that may tell you what to do. Sometimes I find that moving a stressed orchid to a different location may help. I make sure I keep it well hydrated and fertilize it regularly, just give it more love and care and hope for the best💖💖
I spray my orchids with a hose with a fine spray nozzle. My vandas and other mounted orchids I water pretty much every day unless it rains. And my potted orchids I usually water 2-3 times a week.💖

Hi, your orchids are stunning, what potting media do you use for your dendrobiums?
Thank you Marisa! I use exapanded clay pebbles mixed with charcoal and coconut husk. Except for the three biggest ones that outgrew their small pots, they are now growing in larger pots with lavarock and charcoal mix.💖
@@orchidnewbee8786 how often do you water your dendrobium in that mix?
@marisachapat831 when it is hot like it is now, I water my potted dendrobiums three times a week 💖
