I like this hymn. It is a Xhosa hymn,it means on earth we live in different places,we have different nations,speak different languages and different traditions and cultures but there is something common about all of us on this planet,we commit sins and we are all gonna die.
We plead with Jesus to set us free from sins and give us life because we trust that he’s the only one who has power,and therefore we stretch our hands to him,we know that he died for us sinners and brought news for all of us therefore he must be praised by all nations.
Now we understand the hymn + melody,South Africans give us hope.
