If you're having trouble looking for the harness, search "3031-P Tekonsha" on Amazon and that should be the right one. Also double check that the harness is correct for your specific model year. Thanks for watching!

@@KnightWheelsMedia there is nothing on the screen of the tekonsha that the redarc doesn't tell you with the LED, it tells you if the trailer is connected, when it is engaging and with what intensity, the dial is infinitely variable and very easy to set for the correct amount of force for the load. Yes I should have clarified. I believe all V6 Tacomas have the pre-wiring even without the tow package. Not 100% sure though so don't quote me on that lol Flat tires will happen at some point I'm sure. I have a plug kit & a spare just in case. That trailer's not too big? It says everywhere your supposed to use 3/4 ton for that size dump trailer. Tacoma is only a 1/2 ton with up to 6,500 lbs payload.
The issue is the payload capacity. By the time you add the weight of the driver, supplies, tongue and hitch, there won't be much to spare, if any. CC is on the driver door frame sticker. My Tacoma Limited is just shy of 1K.

hey I know you are in my area. What WMAs would you recommend to start to hit some trails. Finally was able to get a new Trd OR
Check out Citrus and Richloam. Those are my two go-to WMAs as they're the closest. But use caution this time of year as they're pretty muddy haha
I call my Tacoma, “taco”🌮 too! 😂
definitely a requirement lol
Hey what size is your trailer?
Thank you for all the info
It was 6x10x2

Isn't the plug n play for the brake controller sold separately...I think ur link is just for the brake controller and doesn't have plug n play link
They must have changed it. Try this one: amzn.to/3keJNK2
Or you can search “Tacoma brake controller harness” and should come up
why did you take off the trim peices.. seems the connector plug was already there..??
Easier to find/access with it off
When you disconnect the battery do you have to reset your idle settings or radio or gps?
Not that I remember but it's definitely possible yes
What Ball hitch are you using?
I think it was just a standard Reese or Curt hitch from lowes or HD, can't remember exactly. 2 5/16in size I believe for this trailer
Is that trailer brake controller also for the semi-truck trailer/container? 😆
Haha might come in handy!!

The link goes to the controller but not the harness needed for Tacoma. I think I found it but want to be sure.
