We do this with just the cake mix & the pumpkin & make little whoopie pies put cream cheese frosting in the middle.

Looks real easy and I like spice cake I prefer the extra egg added.
I don't think we get the spice cake here and I've never seen pumpkin in a can 😮 so I guess I'll have to eat the cream cheese frosting by itself 😝🤣 If I did make something like this, I think I'd add a little bit of water to help smooth the mixture out (maybe 1/4 of what the packet directions call for).
Do you get the Squash in a can that can also be used.
No, we don't, probably because pumpkin and other squashes are available fresh all year round here. Plus, it's not common for us to use it in cakes, pies or bread there's not real market for it.
Thank you for sharing this. I wonder how this would taste wit sweet potatoes instead. I do not like pumpkin but i love sweet potatoes. Lol. See you tomorrow.
