- My thickest journal thus far. This is a custom made order junk journal/lapbook.
- Approximately 220 pages back to front
- 10 cm spine
- 5 signatures
- Approximately 26.5 cms x 20 cms (length and width respectively).
-It's heavy!
Some of the technics I used to create this lapbook I learned from watching hours of Nik The Booksmith, Amity Bloom, Lorna's lapbooks (Taylor Made Journals) and Angela Kerr 😅. Very inspirational ladies! ❤

I just want to tell you how inspirational you are! My name is Christina Anderson. I found your channel and it has helped me in so many ways. I lost my father in january, my best friend In march, and my grandmother who practically raised me shortly after march. I was in a deep dark whole and then the pandemic came. I lost my job. I had 2 miscarriages and my life has been in shambles since. THEN I found your channel and the rest of the JJ COMMUNITY..without all of you I dont think I would be typing this to you today. I would buY EVERYTHING YOU SELL if I could get my job back. Junk journaling and following your tutorials keeps me sane. But I wish I had even half of your supplies. You create such BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF Art! I wish I had the means to be as good as you. I cant even afford the digits which are the cheapest bc I cant afford the printers and ink. I lost my second apartment. I'm just doing what I can with what junk I have. I wish I could make beautiful stuff like you. You are my hero and my inspiration. I pray i can get back on my feet soon and be just as good as you! As everything you make and everything you do puts a smile on my face and makes all that bad stuff disappear if only for an hour. I cannot, I repeat, I cannot send heat + humidity. It makes me cranky and lethargic 😅. It has rained nearly everyday for the past few weeks...and it's also very windy. I prefer this to the summer weather in July, August 😓.
Haha ha, I hear you! I also get (extremely) cranky in humid weather. 👹 Husband needs to tread carefully! 😡

Thank you Jan. I am trying to set up a space where I can do that. At the moment I work in a noisy living room on our coffee table where the lighting isn't so great. I also did the Artist in Bloom course whereby I learned some of the technics for the cover so I would only be able to show how I go about creating the inside, which is still alot though I think. ❤

Soooo beautiful. I went to Ghana last January for two weeks and it was AMAZING! I brought home so many treasure like beads and even some real Kente cloth. I love the material on the little journal and everything is so lovely.

Yes I did! We spent a week in Accra and also a week in Kumasi. The market there was AMAZING! So many talented people! I brought home tons of beads even some made from fish spine! And also some hand carved giraffes and kente cloth book bags for my nieces and nephew and some clothes too. I got to see the Cape Coast Castle and it was breathtaking! I will never forget my trip and the BEST part was the people! I felt so at home I didn’t even get homesick! And ooooonthe pineapples there! Heaven!
Hahaha, I think one never forgets the countries they visited in Africa. I personally miss 'the people'. The majority are so so friendly! ❤

This is gorgeous. I love your style. In the large journal, in the beginning, you have a window pocket framed in green. There is a rabbit behind the window. Is the green frame paper or fabric? It looks like a magnification of the veins of a leaf to me. Perfect choice for this journal. ❤️
