Im in the process of getting my certification and listening to you say that it took you 2 years makes me feel better. At this rate, it looks like I will be doing the same thing and now i don't feel as bad. but regardless I'm super excited about the journey and can't wait. great video as well!
Your documentary is spot-on I enjoyed it and I'm sharing it with my skydiving friends. It's always nice to see someone else as passionate about skydiving as I am
I am gonna be an Student in a few years, Pandemic held back my plans. Then if I am doing GREAT jumping, I will go for the Instructor rating, I am feeling full of life after the Pandemic, we must live our lives.
Have you done it yet? I just did my ground training today which was great, tomorrow I’m doing my level 1, I’m then gonna get the full AFF coarse and become a skydiver! Hopefully you have either or are gonna do that too. I wish you well :)
So awesome! This is my dream I got 150 jumps in my first year since getting my license last year but I’ve rented a rig every time and it’s getting expensive so I’m saving up for my own rig hopefully by next spring 😬
yeah for me i would love to learn how to solo skydive but that is not really an option for me right now. surpirsingly its not the money that is the issue. its just not the most practical thing for me right now. even arranging to do my 2 tandom jumps were stressful. like its funny i felt more stressed out about actually getting to the drop zone then actually going on the plan and jumping out lol.
Why would you think that you can't skydive? Just make sure you get an AAD for your own gear after you get your license and you'll be fine. That way if anything medical happened in the air, your reserve will fire for you but pray you don't land into powerlines, roads or anywhere unsavory.
"I think everyone remembers their first skydive and their instructor that taught them" Me: ADHD: Yeah. hahaha Totally remember that and them and stuff.

Just wish I’d found skydiving years ago. Had the pleasure of meeting many amazing people.

I haven’t even watched it yet and I know this video is going to hit. I’m 37 jumps in. My dream to be an instructor down the road.

Wait you have seasons for jumping out of a plane lol
Lots of places winter effects it. Or a monsoon season.
