I'm a civil engineering undergrad at Buenos Aires University. One of my professors showed us real studies being made of buildings around River Plate Stadium oscillating drastically during concerts. It's a real thing.
Hola.
Oh man, Soda Stereo is the best band not only in Latin America, but in all Spanish-speaking countries and I would tell you that if it weren't for the language, it would be recognized as one of the best in the world. They started in the 80s (their first album was released in 1984), and this tour called "You'll see me come back" arose to celebrate the reunion of the band 10 years after their separation in 1997. Vocalist Gustavo Cerati was not only a Wonderful avant-garde singer and songwriter who continued his solo career after Soda split up, he was also one of the best guitarists in our country and is a true icon and pride of rock-pop in our language to this day. He passed away in 2014 after spending 4 years in a coma after suffering a cerebrovascular accident. All the live recitals of Soda Stereo are a show of the first international level.
Aguante Soda Stereo!!

You have every reason to be so impressed with this man, Soda Stereo is an incredible band but Gustavo uff, everything he does is incredible, music from the gods, and you are absolutely right when you say that thank God he left us a lot, like we would have liked much more! I am from Guadajalajara Mexico and I lived through the years of Soda and Gustavo I went to their incredible concerts, now I will recommend a band that is breaking my brain, and what impresses me the most is that they are 3 very young girls and their story is super interesting, Their name is The Warning and they sing, play and compose in English and Spanish since they were very young, a first reaction would be great, I recommend their video of the Evolve song!!! Long live music the universal language!!! Rock is not dead!!
Hi! You are right! Most every spanish talking country is full of music and good vibes. You have to know that even so, every country is very different. For example, Chile and Puerto Rico had very little to share as mainly the language, which is quite different in each country because of the accent and many own words. But, if we are talking about latin rock/pop/folk music, Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Chile are the most important exponents and Soda Stereo is loved in all these countries and more as Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Venezuela. Now is a new wave of Soda listeners in Spain, a new generation of public, I think which are rediscovering this music which is from 80s and 90s. So, thank you very much and best regards from Chile!!!! We love Soda!!!! :-)
Oh, yes, i love it. I don't believe of the concerts of AC/DC with us crowd to see yoy react to our bands. I´m very happy what you can live the experience and the atmosphera what they was create on stage. Soda Stereo is probably the best band in spanish language and they was played and sounds better in live what in studio version. Really I´m very happy for this react, enjoy every song of Soda Stereo.

Hello, I recommend SUMO, one of the best bands that Argentina had... and the song "Estallando desde el océano".
Actually, there was a year with lots of legal terms about the vibrations and the damage caused to the buildings reggarding the concerts. Nice reaction bro! Cheers from Argentina!

Gustavo, the lead singer sadly passed and with him any chance of other reunion. Soda Is arguably the most influential rock band in whole latinamerica. I miss them so very much.
You have no idea where you just have landed my friend..there's nothing...nothing ...nothing like Soda, believe me ! Next time listen and react to " Ciudad de la Furia" an anthem if there is one, same concert 2007 , Soda Stereo for ever✨
Agree, this is a must. Gustavo Cerati (guitarist/singer) has sadly passed away nearly 10 years ago, but he was an absolute animal on the guitar & had a stage presence like no other.

The name of the tour is due to the fact they'd been apart for some years and they got back together for it. This band is very much loved and respected all over South America and keeps traspassing borders as now even the English band Coldplay is covering them. It's unbelieveable how they sound being just 3 people! Apart from the beautiful music they made, they sound so well. Regards! Take care! xx
@@ReactionsbyD Cap den font is one of my favorite places on the island :). Ian Paice, the drummer of deep purple has a house right there. What a coincidence xD
Very thanks for your reaction Soda Stereo began his history by seeing The Police show in Buenos Aires '80. Gustavo Cerati (vocals and guitar) and Zeta Bosio (bass and choirs) met one summer in Punta del Este (Uruguay), and after the show they said we have to make music. Charly Alberti was the boyfriend of Cerati's sister, and that's how the band began to form. During the 1970s, Argentina had several very bad military governments, where rock was persecuted almost to the point of disappearing, with the Malvinas War 1982 music in English was prohibited on radio and TV, thus began the renaissance of Argentine rock. Before the recording of their album they already had their first video “Dieteticos” (Dietetics). In '84 they released their first album “Soda Stereo”, a mixture of pop, reggae, ska, and freshness (in the best style of The Police) with a great production behind it. In '85 they recorded “Nada Personal” (Nothing Personal), making them the most listened to band with a mix of pop, folk, blues (oriented towards U2), an excellent mix of rhythms and melodies. And they begin to play in countries near Argentina, Chile (where they receive him as if they were the Beatles of the '80s), Peru, Colombia. In 1986 they recorded their second video “Cuando Pase el Temblor” (When the Earthquake Past) nominated as a finalist at the 12th World Festival of Video and TV in Acapulco. “Signos” (Signs) also goes on sale (much more Dark, Post Punk in the style of The Cure with a mix of U2 sounds) and they do a second tour of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Mexico, (where while they were on tour they recorded their album live at each show), their album “Ruido Blanco” (White Noise) that reflected the result of the tour. In '88 they record “Doble Vida” (Double Life) with Carlos Alomar, totally recorded in the USA, not very convinced of Alomar's production, in Bs As they make some sound adjustments. They release their 3 video “En la Ciudad de la Furia” (In The City Of Fury) again finalist in the MTV Awards. At the end of that same year, a show is held in celebration of the end of the military rebellion "Carapintada" (Paint Faces) where Soda Stereo closes the show being the great attraction before 150,000 on Av 9 de Julio. We make trip to London, the band recorded with a DJ Simmons “Cuando Pase el Temblor” (When the tremor passes) and "Juegos de Seducción” (Game of seduction) in English respectively, as part of a test for enter an international market. Finally the project was abandoned due to monetary disagreements. In '89 it is the first band to record an album of remixed versions of "Languis" and they do 2 shows at The Palace (Los Angeles). In June '90 they recorded “Canción Animal” (Animal Song) (with a grunge sound) in the USA. In '92 they toured Spain (Madrid, Oviedo, Seville, Valencia and Barcelona) without too much publicity and little success. Then they returned to South America to carry out the Animal Tour. They recorded their second album of remixes at the end of their tour at the Gran Rex Theater called “Rex Mix” with a new song “No Necesito Verte (para saberlo)” (I don't need to see you (to know it)). And he closes the year with another historic show on Av 9 de Julio before 250,000 people. Cerati recorded an album “Colores Santos” (Saints Colors) with Daniel Melero (one of the many guest musicians from Soda Stereo and considered by some to be the fourth Soda, along with other musicians, such as Richard Coleman (guitarist), or Fabian Von Quintiero ( keyboardist). In '92 they recorded Dynamo (6 studio albums with a Psychedelic and Dance sound) in the middle of the Tour Cerati went to Chile to see the birth of his son, Benito. While he recorded his solo album Color Amarillo (Yellow Colour) and it was already beginning Let's see that Soda had little life. In '94 they released Zona de Promesas (Promise Zone) (another album of remixes) which included the song that gave the album its name. But unfortunately Zeta Bosio lost a son in an accident and his other son was disabled for life. In '95 they got together again and recorded Sueño Stereo (Stereo Dream) (more environmentalist with samplers and sequencers). Their Sueño Stereo Tour passed through Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Mexico and the United States (Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Miami) and closes in Chile. They perform a free show in the City of La Plata together with Federico Moura's brothers (Virus and producer of Soda Stereo's first album) before more than 350,000. In '96 they perform an unplugged show on MTV Miami accept the conditions of playing with their electric instruments but varying to more Chill Out versions and with a Bonus Track Middley version of the song Génesis (Vox Dei) that shocking everyone with the guitar solo that belongs to another song Cementerio Club by Luis A. Spinetta. From this show they record the album “Comfort y Música para Volar” (Comfort and Music to Fly). And while they do the Unplugged Tour due to different conflicts, they decide to separate, not very convinced, and they go on the "El Último Concierto” (The Last Concert) Tour in '97. Ten years later in '07 they get together again and perform the Tour "Me Veras Volver" (See me back). Seeing that everything was fine between them, they promised to get together every 10 years. But it was impossible because in 2010 during the Tour only Gustavo Cerati suffered a stroke. Until 2014 when Gustavo died. RIP 🙏😢 Thanks Gustavo for all music
I have the pleasure for stay there and all the stadium and grandstands shake cuz all the ppl jump!! is an emotional experience i never forget! We miss Soda Stereo! Best Band Ever
You're completely right about the vibrations around the stadium. I live in a 14th floor near another concert arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and everytime there's a big concert like this one, the whole building (the whole neighbourhood) shakes like an earthquake is going on. I've always enjoyed it and found that very funny, but on the bad side buildings started to get damaged due to the vibrations to the point concerts had to be banned during a period of time on this stadium (River Plate). Your channel & reactions are awesome man!! Cheers from Argentina 🍻🍻
Great song.hello friend l recommend to most of argentina the song "bursting from the ocean"of the 80s the singer is italian and half scottish but he came to argentina and formed the band SUMO most of the songs of SUMO is in English.thank🇱🇷🇦🇷🇱🇷🇦🇷
Talking about earthquakes... Indio Solari was banned to play in stadiums because when he sing Jijiji and the public does the Biggest Pogo in the world, the building around the stadiums will shake.
Thank you for sharing your unique appreciation towards Soda’s performance. The vocalist, Gustavo Cerati, also recorded some solo material you might find interesting.
I went to each concert they made in Caracas (Venezuela) in the nineties...It was an unforgettable experience to have gone to those concerts. An unrepeatable time.

When the AC/DC recitals were recorded at the River Plate stadium, such earth movements were recorded that caused some neighboring houses to have cracks in their walls.
Earthquake-like vibration was once registered by the National Service in the surroundings of that particular stadion (River Plate Football Club) however not during a Soda Stereo but La Renga concert

RIP 🙏😢
Thanks Gustavo for all music

Beautiful reaction 💪💪💪

Gracias totales!! Gustavo
Talking about earthquakes... Indio Solari was banned to play in stadiums because when he sing Jijiji and the public does the Biggest Pogo in the world, the building around the stadiums will shake.

Please do it with " Sueles dejarme solo " , is ....insane
When the AC/DC recitals were recorded at the River Plate stadium, such earth movements were recorded that caused some neighboring houses to have cracks in their walls.
Earthquake-like vibration was once registered by the National Service in the surroundings of that particular stadion (River Plate Football Club) however not during a Soda Stereo but La Renga concert
Soda Stereo. Buenos Aires. Argentina=Latinoamérica.
