I live in Alabama and this popped up in my feed. Decided to watch it and glad that I did. You guys have a top-notch meteorologist out there. She comes across as knowledgeable of the science and she seems to care about the things she is reporting. Y'all are lucky to have her...enjoyed watching!

She has to be good...Californians, unlike most of the rest of the country, are not derps. The TV and radio markets are only outdone by New York. The best end up in the SF Bay Area and in LA. We don't have many dumb oakie style on air talent.

I really didn't think Shasta would refill in one season. The last time it filled up quickly was a few years ago and it took two consecutive seasons of exceptionally storms to do it. Now, we can wait to see how full the Trinity Lake will fill as the snowpack melts. I noticed it mentioned in the news about having a shelter just in case. They specified a hardtop vehicle. It's sunny and nice down in the Valley and the SF Bay Area. Many people will think it's a excellent idea to drive their convertible cars up for a nice drive up in the Sierras.

As a native Californian, I’m just grateful that the winter has delayed everything from drying too quickly and there’s a chance that if there’s a forest fire it will likely be slowly to spread, if there’s any forest left by now. I’m just so tired of the wild fires getting out of control every year! Used to love summer, even with the heat, but now the fatigue of fire activities has dampened the mood. Supposedly a super El Niño is coming this year and we might get a wet fall too.
