I'm in Alexandria, Indiana. The weather's been cloudy with a mixed bag of precipitation, not the best for star gazing. I really like looking at comets, very cool.
Thank You, I just love everything you do!
Thanks for sharing the view! It has been too cloudy every night to see it from Wisconsin.
The situation is the same in Hungary :(
Nicely done! Thanks for doing this!
kind of bummed I missed this. I have tried finding it here at home, not tonight as it was cloudly, and had no luck.
Michigan
Saw Haileys Comet and Hallebop and the one two years ago!
Ohh my God, first time in my life seeing this 😳
Would it be seen differently from the naked eye viewpoint? Compared to the post processing view
Santa Barbara, CA I can see it with Binoculars
very cool
Maryland
How long are your exposures or is it video?
Unable to see this from Akron, Ohio 😭
Will the comet be in roughly the same location in the sky tomorrow?
Looking from Albany Oregon on a clear night (very unusual here), I used my best binoculars and a spotting scope 60x60 and saw a point of light. Saw lots of points of light, but no way could I even tell it was a comet. I think a really good telescope may see it as a comet. Not binoculars or a spotting scope. Nope, nope, nope.
I am in Honolulu. Will we be able to see it or not? Would you happen to know what the optimal time and day to view it would be?
Can anyone tell me if we can see this in Australia 🇦🇺. And in what consolation in the Southern Hemisphere please😊
Australia, as mentioned in the livestream, will not have a good view of this comet at peak.
Parabool pathway. . Highschool level .
Where are you recording the feed from?
So has this happened already or not in uk
Should be next couple of night in the UK, especially tomorrow night
I can't find the commet !
Me either
🌕🌕🌕🌚🌚🌚🌚
Where are you looking in the sky right now question mark and New York it's supposed to be in between the big dipper in the little dipper on February 1st and second experience
Near Kocab in the constellation Ursa Minor (Little Dipper)
Why comets don't collide with other heavenly bodies
?
They do! See what happened to Jupiter in 1994 for an example.
