  • Here’s a secret: The key to getting into your top-choice colleges is a choice that you’ll make BEFORE you even apply. It may seem like it’s harder than ever to get into college. Lots of students are applying to 10+ colleges, and many highly selective schools boast steadily decreasing acceptance rates. It’s true that college admissions are more unpredictable than in the past-but they’re not actually harder. In fact, more than three-quarters of students get admitted to their first-choice colleges. You can be in that fortunate group. Watch The Princeton Review’s Editor-in-Chief Rob Franek as he explains how you can correct for unpredictability in the college process-and earn a spot at your dream school.
About this Learning Playlist: In “College Admission 101,” The Princeton Review’s Editor-in-Chief Rob Franek breaks down the most complex parts of the college process-and teaches you how to set yourself up to find, get into, and pay for your dream college.

no like the question is, for that 100 000 people that apply to the Ivy League schools, is 70% of them academically not good enough? Or what's the percentage of people who can't get in based on their scores alone? How many people have an actual shot at getting into those Ivy League schools?
