Washington Today (10-4-24): President Biden on Sept jobs report; Donald Trump appears with Gov. Kemp

The Labor Department say the U.S. added 254,000 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate fell from 4.2% to 4.1%. President Joe Biden stopped by the White House briefing room to discussion to the jobs report and the agreement to end the dockworkers strike at East and Gulf Coasts ports.
Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump travels to Evans, Georgia to discuss Hurricane Helene recovery, appearing for the first time with Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA). Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris campaigns in Michigan.
We talk with Houston Chronicle politics reporter Jeremy Wallace about the Texas Senate race between Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX).

What STUPIDTY. President Trump has donated TWENTY FIVE MILLIONS DOLLARS, large plane loads of supplies, and coordinated with Musk, a Starlink communications system, which Biden both claims to have originated (look up the announcement dates) but then...ALSO has PREVENTED from being used... WAKE UP, PLEASE, before folks begin FIGHTING for their lives.

Offering them $750 each, only to find they don't qualify for EMERGENCIES if they have homeowners insurance? WHAT GOOD DOES THAT do in an emergency need for food and water. Will insurance companies come through with RESCUES that are denied even DRONES to find them? Denied citizen helicopters (subject to arrest just for helping) to rescue them while denying FEMA helicopters? Affecting millions in Appalachia? What are you DEMs smoking? These people are AMERICANS.
