I have just purchased the Zemismart device via the link on your article. On disassembly it looks like the blackadder photos, the PCB is printed as SY-PX30-T6E-V1.0 2021-07-09. When plugged in the device manager shows it under the USB Devices as 'AURA LED CONTROLLER' with the driver being WinUSB. Not exactly related to this video in particular but I'm looking at building a house from scratch and was wondering if there were any sensors that could be hardwired into the house from construction so that there would not be any batteries that needed to be yearly? I like everything that you are doing throughout your house, and know that if you pay a company to make a smart house everything is hardwired from the beginning but cannot seem to find what sensors would be hardwired in or how they would connect to Home assistant.
These are expensive buttons 😂. Great video, but you can't really justify the panels. Your phone is like 20cm below the panel. When using tasker and you have your alarm set, you can full screen the app. I see no point in using such a solution other than "it looks dope"
@@denniskluytmans that was exactly my thought too and ended up going with the NSPanel instead. They are not as beautiful but they can do most of what HomeAssistant has to offer
Looks really cool, however, I wouldn't be comfortable with a wifi device so close to my head while sleeping. I would use the ethernet connection that's possible.
Yeh, luckily my house was built fairly recently and included neutral wires. My old house definitely didn't have any! You could run a feed cable from an existing power socket up the wall to about chest height and install it that way.
@@HomeAutomationGuy neutral wires are still rare in new build, mine was built in 2021 and has no neutral wires. I guess it’s important to note this in your videos for those UK viewers as it’s an important one and one that blights the products that can be added to our smart homes here in the UK
I don't like to mess around with mains voltage electricity myself. Mistakes can be made and bad things happen so I leave it to the experts most of the time!
This has absolutely nothing to do with home automation. When the alarm goes off the guy is turning on the lights, opening the blinds all by hand. Proper Home automation is when this all happens, under the right conditions automatically without you ever having to touch a button

Con 2 microfoni in camera da letto ? 😂😂😂😂😂 cosi sentono tutto pure di notte ...geniale.😂😂😂😂😂
I actually saw this on ali-express then i thought would it be posible to sue these for home assistant insteads of the sonoff NS panels.
Later i found this video very happy i thought about it ;)
Only thing is here in the netherlands we dont have those squared boxes standard in the wall zo i will probably need to have a 3d printed desk stand or something.
Is going to be a brainstorm session about it
i got those boxes in the wall here in the netherlands, building from 1973 tho
@@jesperkuipers9432 ah okay i got the round ones in my home, but a 3d printed stand for on the nightstand or somewhere els could also be the option for me :)
Perfect!
Your wake up routine should happen automatically based on presence sensors
Some of them do
Good your 'partner' loves them. The thought police approve too.
They're on my IoT VLAN so can't talk to the internet directly. Hopefully that keeps the hackers out of my bedside.
It is certainly a great idea, but I already have a phone for that, isn’t that useless?
Look like SONOFF nas panel
It's very similar, yes
These are expensive buttons 😂. Great video, but you can't really justify the panels. Your phone is like 20cm below the panel. When using tasker and you have your alarm set, you can full screen the app. I see no point in using such a solution other than "it looks dope"
Yep. Totally fair and valid points. But they really are dope though aren't they 🤩
@Home Automation Guy yea, they are beautiful 😍. They need to be half the price and I'll take 10🙈
@@denniskluytmans that was exactly my thought too and ended up going with the NSPanel instead. They are not as beautiful but they can do most of what HomeAssistant has to offer
Perfect
Thanks!
Looks really cool, however, I wouldn't be comfortable with a wifi device so close to my head while sleeping. I would use the ethernet connection that's possible.
Oh well no good for me or most UK houses since it doesn’t work without neutral… your house is the exception
They seems pricey when you could buy a cheap android tablet for less than a
HOW MUCH?!?! Thanks, but no Thanks...
"I had the electrician remove them" 🧐
What?
@@HomeAutomationGuy I'm just not used to RUclipsrs not installing the stuff themselves.
I don't like to mess around with mains voltage electricity myself. Mistakes can be made and bad things happen so I leave it to the experts most of the time!
@@HomeAutomationGuy no worries. Getting zapped with 120 ain't that bad though. Ask me how I know 🤣
230v hits really hard. It's no joke. Also, in the UK, you would need a license.
I just don't see the utility of these panels. You can use your phone.
Not if you're a guest in my house and don't have access to my HA system on your phone.
This has absolutely nothing to do with home automation. When the alarm goes off the guy is turning on the lights, opening the blinds all by hand. Proper Home automation is when this all happens, under the right conditions automatically without you ever having to touch a button
Cool
Him in the night 💀
Accurate
Thanks. But way too fiddly for my liking
its more effort to lean over, touch the screen and start faffing about with settings than just stepping out of bed and pulling the blind cord.
My blinds no longer have cords
Lost me at “Tuya”.
why not just use a old iphone with the official app....
I don't have any. And they aren't mains powered, and don't fit into my existing light switch back boxes
Look cool but not really useful
I find them pretty useful
hi sir, i am having trouble with the lack of guidance for the Command prompt part. even after looking at ur article. im having issues when i try to do these codes:
adb shell setprop persist.adb.tcp.port 5555
adb.exe: no devices/emulators found
adb install ultra-small-launcher.apk
adb.exe: no devices/emulators found
and whatever i do my T6E just shows up as "TuyaIotModule"
any help would be much appreciated :)
Dead in the water :(
Just received my T6E smart panel and see it has a different display back, and opening a totally different PCB layout and version TPP01-Z_V1.0.4. I can connect using ADB which reports the device as a "10011471800262 device product:occam model:Nexus_4 device:mako transport_id:3" But can't go further when sending the command adb shell setprop persist.adb.tcp.port 5555 Reports back with "error: closed" Seems @pvg5559 has had too... Any help on this or a total waste of money :(
Oh that's a real shame! I've seen some tips in the following forum which might help you get access
community.home-assistant.io/t/tuya-smatek-t6e-and-s6e-4-inch-control-panels-for-ccs-central-control-system-android-based-in-wall-4-inch-smart-display-with-touch-screen-now-sold-under-many-different-brands/473366/39
Thank you for the link, but they talk about developer mode and eWelink? Don't knowwhat's that about or how I enable that??? All I can do on my unit id connect to the internet on the device. Any help would be very much appreciated Roy @@HomeAutomationGuy
Title could have been clearer that this is a tutorial :)
Fair feedback, thank you!
How to keep it as a signee hub and connect R5 devices?
