  • Gawar phalli or cluster beans are wealthy method of obtaining proteins, soluble fiber too, along with these, it includes numerous important Vitamins, namely Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, foliates, and abundant with carbohydrates, and has minerals namely, phosphorous, calcium, iron, potassium.
    Here's sharing an authentic recipe with all of you to try at home.
    Ingredients
    Gawar 250 grams
    Chana dal 1Tbsp
    Moong Dal 1Tbsp
    Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
    Cumin 1/2 tsp
    Green chilies 1/2 tsp
    lemon 1/2 No
    Coconut grated 4 Tbsp
    Coriander leaves, chopped 2 Tbsp
    Oil for cooking
    Salt to taste
    Method:
    1. Blanch gawar phalli in microwave by putting gawar in a bowl with water with its top covered with thin film of plastic cover and punctured, for 2-3 minutes.
    2. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a pan; add cumin, chana dal and moong dal in the pan and saute it
    3. Add green chillies (Chopped/paste) in the pan and saute it.
    4. Add blanched gawar in the pan and saute it.
    5. Add salt and turmeric powder. close the lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
    6. Add grated coconut and coriander leaves in the pan and mix well.
    7. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with coriander and lemon slice.
