It may take years to develop a taste for licorice and salmiakki, but once you do, dark candy becomes the clear winner. There is also salmiakki ice cream and I love it😋

I do like turkish pepper and licorice, but I don't eat sweets anymore, but if I really want candy, I usually like licorice or turkish pepper

Thank you so much for this fun candy tasting live!! 🙏🏻❤️ I had so much fun watching it!! 😂😂😂 It us always so interesting to see how different countries have different food/candy traditions and what people in one country love…people in another country absolutely hate (sorry..strongly dislike 😬😂) and cannot understand what the fuss is about AT ALL!! 😂😂😂 When I tasted Australian Vegemite for the first time, I bet my facial expressions were about the same as your facial expressions when you guys tasted all the licorice and the Turkisk Peber!! 😆😂😂😂 My friend from Australia thought Vegemite was the best thing EVER and I was like 🤮🤮🤮!! 😂😂😂(But give Anzac biscuits….YUM!!! 😍😍) I love how Rio was loving the Markkina Laku licorice and could’ve kept eating them!! 👍🏻😃 Proves that even in the same family everyone’s taste buds are different! I love licorice in any form!!! 😍 My favorite ice cream ever is licorice ice cream mixed with orange flavored ice cream!! YUUUM!!! 😍😍😍😍

It was really great to see all of you having much fun and enjoying tasting all of these candies from Finland, as well as you've done it with candies from many other European countries! And it's true that, as you've said it in the description, TJ, it's been a long while since you've done a tasting live like this! Also, thank you to you all, also, for allowing European fans to share it all with you and with everyone this way! I really love it so much, also, especially, with everything we are learning while having much fun and enjoying watching you all tasting and giving it a score! It always is so interesting to see! In any case, I've really had much fun and enjoyed seeing it all today, and also learning everything about Finland and its traditions! It was really interesting, and so funny too, to see you tasting these candies! I even laughed so well, same as all of the friends, there, with all of you doing it, and making some funny faces, especially the girls, and also you, TJ, while tasting the last one, at the end! Hey Family and friend! Loved this vlog, was curious to know if Finland’s coffee taste like licorice.I’ve tried licorice as a child and it tasted like medicine to me, so I’m assuming since it’s always cold in Finland, licorice May be some form of medicine, if that makes since.💕☀️
pihlaja That is, marmalade sweet made from rowan berries (pihlaja=Rowan in english). Or, well, the original 1895 Pihlajanmarjamarmeladi brought to the market by Karl Fazer was made from real berries, nowadays flavorings are used.
In Finland, very small children eat salmiakki, which is the (in your opinion) bad-tasting powder in those Turkish pepper sweets. And that mixture isn't even bad, the salmiakki version tastes like salmiakki, and they don't taste bad either, but you really have to get used to the taste.
We have more "tasty" Turkish pepper salty salmiak and we mix that to vodka, salmari=salmiak vodka served cool 😋

Ok, as a Finn, I think you got some of the less popular candy. Suffeli and Kismet are ok, but you are missing the best ones.
And when talking about saunas, from what I have understood the saunas you have in the gyms are not used the right way, as you should throw water on the stove, and the temperature should be around 80 degrees Celsius.
