Highly recommend going to see this!!! It was AWESOME!!!! They stayed true to the original everything was the same as it was in the original. Clever scenes, funny sad horror everything we needed in 2024! I won't spoil anything so go see for yourself!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who caught this. The first time I watched the extended trailer (which I guess would be more accurately called the 2nd trailer) my ears instantly picked up on that oh so familiar, yet different musical score by legendary composer Danny Elfman. It sounds very similar to the original film, yet it's slightly slowed down with a much darker and ominous sound to it. I've always absolutely loved all of Elfman's work throughout the years. I remember buying the Batman score on cassette when I was only 9 or 10, shortly after the movie came out the summer of 1989.

Yes the climax is the only thing that felt so rushed. Couple more minutes would've been appreciated. Still I have a blast with the sequel.
